Cancer researchers get offed more in Austria than Republicans do in Dublin, take that fact and stick it on the welcome mat

One would presume quite logicially that cancer researchers are in the main at least providing some kind of service that might be of value to cures.. treatment etc... and harming nobody with the intention of doing a bit to help sombody.. this individual and his ilk.. known gangsters acting under the banner of a legimitate worthy political cause.. yeah some comparission to make alright... but thank you for your contribution and congratulations again ;)

It will be sick seeing a tricolour on the coffin.

He no more a republican then Ian Paisley.
That would be defiling our national flag.
The tricolour belongs to all of us, even though it's been hijacked by republican scumbags.
We should be proud to fly our flag instead of being afraid of being associated with scumbags if we do.

Another young man with a young child being assasinated is not something to celebrate IMO.

It's not at all but not exactly the same as Joe soap on the street with no involvement in crime or subversives being shot dead.

You live by the sword and you die by it....end of.

You're one naive dude. Cancer researchers tend to go in deep and when they're in, there's no coming out. Sometimes they will try to escape the game but their past always catches up on them. There's some interesting reading available if you do a Google search on your computer or tablet.

Now, to deal with the lesser issues here. I have no idea what these Republican gangsters are getting up to on a daily basis but I'd wager that some of them just might be in it for 'the cause' and to bring about a united Ireland. I would also think that there is a lot of scumbags involved that are in it just to 'play gangster' and have no political beliefs whatsoever.

I don't know if the Ryan's were genuine or not but I imagine a lot of people on here don't know either so I find it a bit strange that there's posters talking like they knew them. Insulting them with comments like "what did they do for a united Ireland" is a bit daft because even if they were actually genuine, I would think that a United Ireland could not be achieved by one person and one person only. That's as daft as the Cancer Research comparison that some idiot made earlier :D

My approach would be to say nothing because I don't have a clue what's going on in Dublin's underworld. Paul Williams might know but he's not to be trusted according to this thread.

Strange choice of username if so. Bunny Colvin was the police chief in The Wire who recognised the idiocy of the war on drugs and set up "Hamsterdam" where drugs could be traded without any police intervention as long as they remained non-violent. While on the surface, the dissidents are anti-drugs, they don't mind allowing the trade to flourish as long as they get their cut. And violence is very definitely are the forefront of this arrangement. It is the antithesis of what The Wire's Bunny Colvin was trying to achieve.

Yeah interesting post. Yeah his name is well known but papers refuse to name him because of supposed upcoming Charges. I'm very surprised he hasn't been killed since the Alan Ryan murder, Eamonn Kelly was murdered probably because he was and easy target and had supposed involvement.

"Mr Big" has had armed gardai monitoring him for years, although the RIRA seem to be in disarray I seriously cannot see Mr Big getting away with this. As for Paul Williams, hes a shill for the Gardai and stirs up **** regularly.

they name him in a roundabout way, tis all over the google as well

I used to know him years ago, quiet fella back then, wouldn't have thought he'd end up the way he is

Williams is clueless of course, it's easy to print fantasy when there's never going to be any proof required

That's accurate. The Hamsterdam method around the country would be better than the system we have at the minute.

Well it's a good thing to stay quiet when you don't really know the ins and outs. The Ryan's might have got what they deserved, that's true but commenting on their deaths like it was all laid out like an episode of The Sopranos seems a bit much also, when nobody really knows what happened to bring about this murder. Hopefully these killings stop soon, it's only a matter of time before an innocent bystander catches a bullet or there's a case of mistaken identity. Apart from that, I won't lose too much sleep either way nor will I celebrate the death or be bothered by the funeral of someone I've never met or know the first thing about.

There has already been a case of mistaken identity with Shane Geoghegan in Limerick. Probably more that I can't recall.

Another two innocents who were murdered were as a result of this feud. The two cousins from O'Deveney Gardens had a tracking device placed under their car by mistake and were killed at a garage in Clearwater by the Taliban brothers who were the hired guns for Mr. Big. That was shocking. And their deaths also give an insight into how fúcked up this gangland nonsense is. They were murdered in a case of mistaken identity by Mr. Big, who at the time was feuding with Micka. Then the Ryans killed Micka. Then Mr. Big fled to Spain and became best buds with Micka's mate and exploited the territorial gap that the Ryans had created by taking out Micka. And then they killed Alan Ryan. Then Vinny miraculously got charges dropped while tooled up on the way to a hit. The Taliban brothers fled to Libya. Paschal got locked up over threats to kill a CAB officer. Giller paid off someone who won the lotto to claim their ticket and is in and out of solitary both here and north but with few serious charges sticking. Sean Connolly kills Eamonn Kelly and gets caught and is also segregated cos he sang. Vinny gets his throat slashed a few months ago and got killed today. And the strangest thing of all is that Paul Williams gets trotted out on every news show and sells books because he is deemed to be the expert on the subject!! He knows nothing.

No one knows. You could be standing next to him and you would not know it. Some say he is six foot eight inches tall and breathes fires through his nostrils.

If only I knew how, after half an hour of googling I thought I had it sorted and still do but towards the end of word press I read it mentioned he was in me bigs gang so now I'm not 100per cent it is him but I'm fairly sure.
    Any hints to confirm?
Why are people afraid to name names on here?

    Legal restrictions I'd assume.

There was another panda chap who was shot dead 3 or four years back. They must be recycling nicknames at this stage.

I don't think the panda or Mr Big are going to be bringing " wardides" or "damiendarts" to court anytime soon!
There scum and should be treated as such, I bet they love this Mr Big **** and all the younger toe rags will commit horrendous crimes so one day they might be a celeb like Mr Big.

No, there will be no hints.

No legal restrictions that I am aware of, but speculation is not what we do around here.

Another man shot dead with links to an organisation extorting money from drug dealers?
    No surprise!

What is surprising and comical is those trying to claim the man and his brother were honest hard working heroes!
