Might hold on to what I have for the minute...will give this lot one more chance before either using my wildcard or abandoning this addictive but very cruel game :-)

That Howson goal for Norwich has broken my spirit

    Kol>Smith to afford Arnie>Payet for a -4

Im surprised there isnt more Aaron Ramsey talk in here.

Bowie and now Alan Rickman. Veterans of the game know his link to celebrity deaths and points hauls. Bin Laden, Whitney Houston, Robin Williams etc.

May i just add that Aaron Ramsey and Alan Rickman share initials, the perfect storm is brewing for a Ramsey haul. :pac:

    Just saying. ;)

I got him in a week too early (even though he missed a sitter). Paid back last night. 4.2% ownership is some decent differential. Stoke up next, we know the history, something '6th sense' is telling me to capt him.

On a tangeant, De Bruyne sellers have been punished badly last 2 times they got trigger happy with 2 x 16pts scores since GW 13. Frankly, i think Pellegrini was mad to sub him off last night and leave Sterling and Navas on, both were rubbish. Gonna hold.

Its my one regret of my wildcard not keeping ramsey. I had him for the previous 6 gws including the easy home fixtures when he blanked. He is a real goal threat from CM id prefer him to ozil.

I'll probably bank i think. Few key decisions in next couple of weeks, in particular and word of a possible dgw 25 may emerge.

I can get Sanchez in for Arnie but it's a bit early i think.

    I can line up as:
    Courtois
    Williams, Toby, Evans
    Ozil, Payet, Alli, Mahrez
    Agüero(c), Kane, Lukaku
    Arnie first sub.

I'm thinking the same. De Gea and Bellerin could go and I could do with getting in Payet so I think I'll bank and make a judgement call next week with two transfers.

Off topic but looking at your team it's probably safe to say the strong front 8 gained you 9 pts the week just gone.

Was planning on going Shaqiri-> Alli
    Any thoughts?

Shaqiri with tough fixtures coming up. Seems like a good move

    Did Arnie -> Payet yesterday.

What other team would be in line for the DGW in GW25 with City ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,747 ✭✭✭Ziegler1988

Waiting, he should be nailed to start on Saturday, and hoping Clichy falls down a big hole ahead of a possible DGW

Fibbed. Changed my mind after reading about how DGW25 might not happen: http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2016/01/14/scout-notes-gameweek-21-wednesday-2/?hc_page=8#hc_comment_12407847

In any case, I don't want to rely on a Kompany-less Kolarov to play 2/3 league matches so instead of Delaney out I've done Kolarov to Fuchs. Hopefully the extra over Simpson/Huth/Morgan pays off in terms of set pieces and baps

I've now made three defensive FTs in a row

Probably Mahrez but if I had both I'd play both, they're playing awful sides

Have Ozil benched this week, will probably regret it

    Brought in Payet and Lloris

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,779 ✭✭✭Benimar

Looking at either De Gea to Lloris or Bellerin to Toby.

Anyone care to offer a view?

Can't really drop Kun, Kane, Kdb, Ozil, Payet or Willian though?

I guess Willian from that front 8 but I have become a huge Will.I.An fan over the last 6 weeks :P

I'd go Bellerin to Toby. Arsenal have a fairly tough run incoming and aren't keeping many clean sheets.

Also Toby is amazing. He has that Macklemore look about him...

    Who's yer other goalie?

Alex McCarthy, so I don't have another keeper!

I'd go for Lloris myself then

I am thinking the same to bench Ozil.

Currently have Lukaku on the bench at the moment but he could sneak goal against his old club, who are a bit porous at the moment!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,354 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

I also currently have Ozil on the bench.

Rest of the front 8 are ::

Alli (SUN), Payet (new), Mahrez (avl), KDB (CRY)
Aguero (CRY), Ighalo (SWA), Lukaku (CHE)

3 questions to ponder this week.

Do i go Arnautovic to Payet?
Do i start either Bojan or Ozil with the other benched?
    Start Ighalo ?

Unsure about Arsenal away to Stoke. Its a game in the past where they would bottle it and if Stoke are in there faces they wont like it. Similar to the Southampton game before Christmas.

Ozil, Smalling, Luk >> Payet, Simpson, Aguero

    Thoughts?

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,190 ✭✭✭✭km79

thinking about benching ozil...........its between him and lukaku and I feel I got away with benching lukaku midweek really

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,065 ✭✭✭MaxPower89

Had ideas of 4 transfers for -8, but just did Kolarov>Sagna and Walcott>Payet. If Aguero goes mad, I'll get him in but KdB will have to go for him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,101 ✭✭✭Antibac

Looking at Willian in for Arnutivic and/or Simpson in for Bellerin not sure if it's worth a -4.

Willian would give me a strong front 8 and would be benching Ozil
