Non Ighalo owners. Are you going to get him in despite the tricky fixtures? If so for who? Aguero, Vardy, Kane, Giroud, Lukaku would be the other popular strikers and it would be hard to drop any of them for Ighalo. Even people with Ighalo what would the opinion be?

Personally I haven't had him all season. And I really don't think I can sell Kane Lukaku or Vardy for him at this stage. I don't know though because he's pretty much destroyed Saturdays good work for me this gw :(

I'm not getting him. It hasn't even crossed my mind once all season. I'd only consider him if money was tight but it's not at the moment so I'd prefer to have strikers at teams I think will score more goals.

If Vardy is ruled out through injury or picks up another yellow, I'd consider it. Ighalo's stats are monster the last few GWs but I'd like to see him put up the same sort of figures in the upcoming ones first

That's the thing though, if he puts up those figures in the upcoming fixtures, non owners are only going to fall further and further behind. Saying that I'd like to think my current 3 Lukaku Kane and Vardy will at the very least match him over the next few.

I'm not overly worried about him the next few since no one will captain him and he's still 6m

If aguero plays well he comes in and gets captained. Going to go for a strong front 8 over Christmas so I don't care if he's rested. A Kun explosion as a differential is what my season needs

Two free transfers this GW. Taughts on where to streghten.?

    Myhill/Schemical
Kolorov Dann Alderweiekd (Francis / Cedric )
    Ozil Mahrez Barkley Bolosie KDB
    Kane Lukaku Igahlo

Happy enough with my front 8 they just keep performing. Maybe doubt over Barkley.

Tempted by Kane to Augero Barkley to Alli. Is Augero worth the risk given his favourable fixture?
Kolorov needs to go too preferablely for Arsenal defender, but who? Monreal or Bellerin

I want to offload keeper too. Taughts on bringing in Butland.

Bellerin in for Smalling to free up some cash I guess.

Aguero didn't make any decisions easy tonight.

Individually he didn't do much but as a team City were woeful going forward. I didn't think he was terrible by any means, and had 2 decent headed chances.

But with Arsenal quicker to every ball and snuffing out most attacks, not to mention lots of woeful passing from City there was no penetration, no balls to run onto behind the defence.

He'd be a huge risk to bring in for -4. But I'm not ruling it out.

Problem is though, City are playing Sunderland next, and they even made Chelsea look good the last day.

City home v sunderland, could be 4/5 nil and Aguero could easily hit a xmas hattrick.

I'm in the same boat. He got fcuk all service tonight but certainly looked sharp enough. City really need to beat Sunderland now as well. That game could finish 1-0 or 5-0

Walcott in with the news Sanchez is out till Jan 10th.

Avuero is now a two transfer move so he can wait a little longer.

Alli in for bench fodder Westwood. Gives 13 playing outfield players for the Christmas madness.

Spurs have zero cover for Kane so you could keep him and not have to worry about him been rested.

Barkley to Alli is a decent move. Alli missed a game with suspension recently so he's also had a rest and unlikely to be rested. His fixtures are slightly more favourable then Barkleys but he does tend to pick up frustrating yellow cards.

    Sinclair -> Alli.

Still have another free transfer but might hold off for the madness that is the Dec 28th/29th games...

Wanyama to Alli tonight with my first FT pushing Deulofeu as my "luxury" 5th mid.
Or shall I just ditch Deulofeu and forget about strong front 8 that I can"t seem to be able to ever manage well...?

Have another FT and will assess later my other options (e.g. regarding my City players).
The annoying thing about potentially ditching City players (KDB particularly) is that they have a 3 days rest between GWs 19 & 20 while most teams will only have 2. But away to Watford and with KDB away form the pros gets destroyed by the cons...

Their away form is ridiculous. And 2 away games over Xmas/New Year. However can I really go without any City attacker (I no longer count Sterling as an attacker, or even a player really, just a dead spot on my team) given their capability to score 5 some day out of the blue?

For this reason I'm still inclined to gamble on Aguero. I'm going to do Hazard to Alli tonight I think, then possibly Vardy to Aguero, and maybe even Mane to Walcott for a -8.

I've held back on hits for getting rid of dead wood and its cost me dearly. I'd be much happier with a (strong) front 8 of:
Ozil, Walcott, Mahrez, Alli (+ 8.9 for a Sterling replacement for GW19 rotation cover)
    Kane, Aguero, Lukaku

No Vardy being the big risk. But I'll be surprised if he doesnt get another yellow in the next couple, and while his withdrawal was precautionary at the weekend he has said recently that he carries a knock of some sort into every game, and may even be considered for Christmas rotation. They don't call him the tinkerman for nothing.

But risks need to be taken...

Done wanyama to alli. Not the biggest fan of strong front 8's, but with the usual Christmas rotation, as well as the ridiculous money in my bank, it seems like the logical move. I'll hold on aguero for the moment, but I can still see him in my team by the end of the week

KDB to Alli. Already have Silva so not too bothered about losing KDB.

I'm thinking of bringing in Creswell for Moreno or else maybe Alli for Kouyate, I'll wait till Friday though, see what the story with Vardy is first.

You're right about their away form. Hopefully KDB doesn't drop (though I doubt it) this week. I"m willing to give him a last chance home to Sunderland before joining the Walcott train.

I can get tonight the same front 7 than your planned one with £9.2m for my 5th mid. And that's with keeping both Kolarov & Bellerin. Souaré-Wollscheid-Simpson forming a totally improvised 3-way rotation at the back :p.
My last concern will be my GKs (Hennessey-Myhill).

Wanyama -> Alli done. Have enough in the bank for Vardy -> Aguero if Vardy subbed was for worse than just a precaution...

Everyone bringing Alli in. Really hope Eriksen can outscore him.

Mané to Walcott and bench Barkley perhaps? Although apparently Mané has been putting up some good stats.

Any opinions on what I should do,

    am thinking:

That I'm dropping Hazard but who would people suggest to buy in?

    Silva or Walcott?

Fancy Arsenal's next few games and their form, anyone have an opinion on how Silva has been playing the last few weeks?

(I have Ozil and KBD so it'll be one double up for while-KDB sale will fund an Aguero buy soon)

Also thinking of a minus 4 to get rid of Micah Richards (thinking Collins-West ham or Ryan Bennett here)

Am looking to make up ground so thinking of a bit of a left field defender.

    Or

If Vardy is a doubt I could do Hazard-Vardy to <6.9MF-Aguero as a punt to try catch up.

Everyone in private league has Vardy, noone has Aguero and it'd be easy to change back to Vardy if Aguero is crocked again soon.

Team in full if anyone thinks I should make other changes.

    DDG, McCarthy

    Simpson, Dier, Bertrand, Moreno, Richards

    Mahrez, KBD, Ozil, Alli, Hazard

    Vardy, Kane, Lukaku

So Alli isn't even remotely a differential anymore then?

Well it was fun while it lasted :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,262 ✭✭✭iroced

@shineon: I'd fancy Walcott. He has more scoring potential than Silva. And with Sanchez out, the former should see plenty of gametime.

Differentials? You mean Hazard, Sanchez, Silva and Aguero :pac: ?

Differential = defence and an attacker under 50% live ownership now in this template season

Thinking Bertrand > Dier, and that'll probably be it. Though Kane > Ighalo is tempting me, but Spurs have Norwich (H) which I expect a riot and hopefully Kane to get in on it.
