it was a beautiful day in Castlebar with plenty of sunshine and good drying in the moderate wind. more rain on the way though. currently 8 degrees, light south westerly. clouding over from the west.

Close to the shortest day of the year (22nd this year )but today has been one of the brightest days in a long time here in Kerry with mostly clear skys with just a thin veil of Cirrostratus . And the road surface dried for the first time in ages ( last day without rain was the 4th Nov ! )
