Cool breezy day here in Ardfert with big showers especially 10.00 this morning when it went exceptionally dark for about an hour, a few more showers this evening giving a total of 7.8mm so far.

Highest temp just after midnight, very cool late afternoon but bright and sunny getting down to 5.7C in a breezy WSW ( 54kph ),wind backing later to the SW, lighter now avg 10 kph.

Yesterday's brief chill was indeed brief - now mainly cloudy, breezy, dry and 11.3C....the new normal December weather resumes. Low last night was at midnight (6.6C).

Yesterday's high came at midnight (13.3C), yesterdays low (5.2C) came during a shower after midday!

Winter becomes early Autumn and day becomes night. Can doom be far behind....:eek:
