Ardfert: Temp was 4.7C here just after midnight and rose to 12.7C by 9.48 , big drop again now to 5.8C.

Breezy earlier in the night getting up to 49.9 kph from the SE , now light from the NNE

Rain 19.2mm since midnight, had a good shot of rain yesterday evening as the frontal system arrived giving a total yesterday to 8.2mm

We travelled from Dublin to wexford early afternoon. Rained all the way. Some very heavy showers and the river slaney is very very swollen and has burst it's banks in a number of locations particularly around ferns and enniscorthy. At the bridge in Enniscorthy the water level is almost at the top of the arches. Hope everyone is ok there
