I really doubt that family applied to take part.
Looks more like they were approached and persuaded.

I'd say they were given a free taxi and free haircuts and free buggies. Sure it happens all the time.

Ridiculous, surely the preliminaries should weed out someone so unsuitable for physical challenges.

Just ICYMI, this is a quarter final. They beat another team in the eliminator last week. Was there anyone calling for fitness testing of the team they beat last week? I wonder why not?

They were approached and persuaded so RTE could make Ireland look like a diverse country

It's funny how you say that like it's a statement of fact, as opposed to being a little fantasy flying round in your head.

Imagine actually being braindead enough to think theres some great conspiracy around a RTE TV fitness competition.

Hard to believe people still get upset over black people on tv.

Brain dead to believe they don’t go looking.

Why didnt they carefully handpick would be winners so dingbat?

Stop trying to get away from facts.

How did they allow them passed the preliminaries? A family near me who participate in marathons regularly and are super fit didn't get passed the initial stages.

They allowed them to compete for obvious reasons

    Political correctness gone mad.
That poor woman was in no condition to take part as we’ve seen tonight.
    Backfired.

You poor eejit. It was the sons that messed up the eliminator and f*cked them.

Cant expect you to understand what you watched.

    You poor sap.

Ha ha when you resort to that you’re well behind.

What facts are you referring to here? The fact that they beat another family (a white Irish family, funnily enough) last week to qualify for the quarter-final.

Got any good conspiracy theories about how that happened?

Have you any queries about how they family they beat last week qualified but your super fit neighbours didn't?

The crackpot conspiracy? I think the word is educated. I'm too well educated.

Backfired by beating a white Irish family to get through to the quarter final?

Must be someone with a sniper rifle or cyanide pills. Only explanation clearly.

I hope that poor woman recovers. Very unfair on her.

I'd say she'd recover from the event faster than she'd recover from your racist snide remarks.

    What racist snide remark?
    Have the balls to answer.

She's not the only mother who shouldn't be near the show. The one who was injured last week is just as bad.

    This one.

    What’s racist about that?
I explained that, RTÉ looking for diversity.

What's racist about it is you claiming that they were only picked because they were black, despite the fact that they beat a white family last week.

It’s my opinion that RTÉ wanted a black family for diversity reasons.
    What’s racist about saying that?

Claiming that they were picked because of their skin colour is a racist claim - by definition - particularly in the light of last week's result where they beat a white Irish team.

    No it’s not.
I said that in my opinion RTÉ picked them for diversity reasons.
Nothing racist about that at all.
That poor woman was embarrassed on tv tonight. She wasn’t fit at all or else she was sick or injured.

How is that racist? You're the probably the type of fella that goes out protesting with the climate change crowd in Dublin with the purple/green hair and crying + whinging about everything

    Grow up
