This could ironically be enough to push someone suicidal over the edge.

I've the volume down as I can't cope with anymore misery items. Isn't it sad that we live in a country where parents have to tell their horror stories so that services and funding might be provided to help their children.

Ray must have been too depressing for Denis O'Brien.

The Late Late Show should let Darcy have guests like this if he wants them. The last few weeks (of the LLS) have been relatively upbeat and far more watchable than normal.

You still on a high after Big Tom's performance?

    Still high on life, baby.

Following the tubridy route now with the heartbreaking stuff..

  • This is a "real life" story so that Ray and the show's producers can prove they can do "serious" entertainment.

This is dire. I feel sorry for those concerned but it is way too long and more appropriate for a one off.

    Ray has some sized ego

At least Ray hasn't started preaching about his beliefs, which have no afterlife.

Must be the most extreme misery piece ever on this type of show.

Such a sad sad story. I have the missus in tears beside me and my little fella in bed - I can only imagine how they are coping with such tragic events.

The upc info bar says an irreverent mix of chat comedy and music....

Is there anything to be said for another elbow dance

...and after that they advertise 'you should really see a doctor'.

    Looking for more misery.

The meaning of life is also a pile of bile, can't stand that Gay Byrne lad.

The MUTV phone in after the 0-0 draw between United and Crystal Palace was far more interesting.

One caller asked if Rooney was playing so badly because he has piles.

RTE should be sued under the Trade Descriptions Act.

Nightmare on .... RTE1. It's also called the Ray D'Arcy show. Ah, Donal, the perfect follow on from the last slot .........

'Tv' chef? Don't you mean 'RTE Chef'?

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,746 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

I always find these RTE programs weird, go from misery to this.

Did someone say this guy doesn't do all his own cooking? Is this true?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,522 ✭✭✭paleoperson

    Donal Skeehan. Feckin brilliant.

It'd be nice to have some real guests once in a while.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

Donal Skehan is dressed like a country vet.

So, long story short, you met her in a pub.

I wonder what does Brendan O'Connor do on a Saturday Night these days?

You are always welcome to share your thoughts on this shite here, Brendan :D

Ah Thank God. Normal service has been resumed.

Forced awkward banter in spades here.
