    That's not a decision for a transfer I'd want to make, plenty of assured starters around the same price, Vardy,Gomis,Martial and Sahko.

    Now it's Friday it's the time of the week where I have to make my decisions over transfers and stuff again. Yay :o

    Wilson! I'm sorry.....

    I can't in true Mr.P nature now go for Vardy after consciously rejecting him before he rose 0.3! Probably Sakho as I thought earlier in the week and because I can't really afford much higher.

    A glorious vision of a wildcard team did cross my mind though during the week that included: Mata - Walcott - Lamela - Sturridge - Lukaku and Aguero. Not that I priced it or anything but it got me giddy :)

    I've been back and forward on various changes and debating using my wild card, so confused at this stage any help would b welcome!

    Current team
    Cech, Rudd
    Bellerby, Kompany, Kolarov, Skrtel, Coleman
    Pedro, Coutinho, Mahrez, Sako, Shelvey
    Ageuro, Wilson, Vardy

    1.4 itb, maybe Pedro/Wilson - Payet/Martial or Sanchez/Ighalo altho I prob need to sort out defence with injuries but might hold off until after the break....decisions decisions!

    I think you spent crazy on your defense. 5 premium def and you still have £1.4m ITB :eek:?!
    I think you should consider both City & Arsenal mids!

    I'd drop Kompany & Bellerin (since you have Cech). Bertie, Dier are good £5.1-5.3m options. Swansea, Palace have good fixtures coming. Francis, Martin, Watford def are great value.
    And upgrade at least 2 of Shelvey, Sako & Coutinho. City & Arsenal mids, Mata (maybe not right now considering his coming fixtures), Payet are worth consideration.

    Finally what's your plan? 3-4-3? 3-5-2? Rotate the 2 and keep a strong front 8?

    I should probably get West Ham cover in so which do yis reckon:
    1. Shaqiri -> Payet
    2. Ayew -> Payet
    3. Deeney -> Sakho

    I have 2.1 itb so no issues with prices. Leaning towards Deeney to Sakho since not too many have him but a good Payet return would punish me as a few rivals have him. Also should be said that, whilst not scoring, Deeney has still done quite well for me as my cheap rotation attacker in a job not too dissimilar to what George Boyd did for me last year.

    Hopefully we'll get another leaked Pool line up so will know on him. Can't see either starting really though. Gomez has a chance but Targett needs injuries to get back in I think.

    I don't think Gomez will start. He played last night, Moreno is playing well and only played 30 minutes last night. Rodgers under pressure so don't think he'll rely on the kids.

    Yaya problems.

    I have 10m for a replacement so just short of KdB or Silva. I'm already into hits.

    Option 1
    leave it and play Westwood (STO) or Martin (LEI). Probably take a price drop on Yaya.

    Option 2
    Yaya to probably Mata, maybe Mané, outside bet Sterling for -4

    Option 3
    I'm still carrying Gomez who'll have to go next week. I could downgrade him to a 4.3 or 4.4 def and get Silva or De Bruyne for -8. A hit next week is likely anyhow.

    Front 7 currently
    Hazard. Yaya. Sanchez. Mahrez
    Aguero. Vardy. Sahko

    No. 1, can't be without Payet at this stage.

    Doubt it since the match is on Sunday

    I'd do option 1 unless you think you need KDB. None of the mids in option 2 fill me with confidence this GW and Yaya could be back for Bournemouth

    Looking for opinions on my 3 options.

    1. Ayew -> Payet
    2. Silva -> De Bruyne
    3. Both for a -4

    1

    Silva back fit. Not worth a sideways move for -4.

    Sure who knows what is going on there its weird enough that its happening in the first place! There have been a couple of times its come out on Thursday so we might see something today you never know.

    Yaya has certainly made transfers more interesting. Can bring in any of Sterling, Silva or KDB for free with my 2FTs. Had planned to roll one over again which I can still do with Sterling and going with Silva/KDB would mean bringing in a 4.3m defender short term (Hangeland looks a good option for a week at least). Plan on using my WC GW10 or 11 so only thinking short term right now.

    Think I will be doing Gomez to Souare. Bit worried about Gomis' game time but he'll have to stay for this week at least...don't think taking a hit to take him out would be wise.

    Yeh I am thinking its going to be better to move him on sooner rather than later seems he's now in the gametime wary bracket. Would have been handy if this had happened in three weeks time Lukaku would be an easy switch then.

    Only got 9.3 for a Yaya replacement. Probably gonna be Mata or Sterling. I wish I could afford KDB but I don't have anyone downgradable :(

    Logged back in tonight and saw mcAuley is injured for two weeks or so. That sort of changes things. My defence needs a serious change. I'm already worried with my Goalkeepers with West Brom conceding three putting Myhil's position under threat and then McCarthy isn't starting anymore. I already took a hit but I think I might take another to change goalkeepers worst case scenario, as I'm going to have to get rid of McAuley or Darmian next week as well.

    Edit: Just realised the next GW is when McAuley returns, forgot about the break. Looks like I'll keep him so!

    i took a -4 to get KDB and Alder for Yaya and Darmian. I dont like taking -4's but i want Mata and am looking at Barkley/Gomis to Mata/Ighalo for next week.

    I would rather have no keeper for a week if you can use the FT next week to bring one in than take a hit for one this week. I don't think Myhill is particularly risky just yet and definitely not risky enough to justify taking a hit.

    Took a -4 to go Yaya -> KDB

    (had already done Wilson->Sakho earlier in the week)

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,715 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

    Anyone looking at Berahino? Thinking of bringing him in as my Wilson replacement. They have really generous opponents the next few GW and he is in form and on pens. Main drawback with be Pulis' setup so maybe I should go with the masses and pick Vardy.

    Have Pedro and no other Chelsea attack. Have no Arsenal players. Seriously contemplating taking a -4 for Pedro to Sanchez (if Pedro is dropped, Westwood plays)

    Worth it?

    I did that move earlier in the week with Wilson as the makeweight. Can't say it was 100% logic based though, as an Arsenal supporter it sucks to have someone well owned put a hatty up not in my team. I figured I had to do it now since I had some doubts over Pedro starting after the CL performance and would have held for Villa H.

    Done Yaya & Darmian > KDB & Hangeland for free. Hoping Brede takes advantage of the game or two he is going to get!!

    Hangeland got MOTM last week. If he keeps that up he could keep the spot, but you just wouldn't know.

    Cheers for that, prob not surprising had mainly been playing 4 at the back but yeah if I improve midfield def change that

    At 4.3 would be amazing if he could play his way in.

    A bit worried about Pedro starting tomorrow. Willian will definetly start as he has been in good form and you would imagine hazard will so it only leaves one spot for ramires Oscar and Pedro. I was going to -4 Pedro out but think I'll hold. I have a strong front 8 so can play ayew over pedro . I was looking at gw 9 and Chelsea play villa at home. Oscar and Willian play for Brazil in Brazil 3 days before so I think I'll want to keep pedro for that fixture.
