    Thinking of going with Rooney again. United tend to score goals against Villa.

    Thinking of Rooney to as Villa usually capitulate to Man U. However if Aguero gets 60 minutes tomorrow I might be tempted. Chelsea aren't right at the moment.

    This is why I have Kane, although I'm not filled with confidence after yesterday. Sakho vc, not filled with confidence either. Rooney the other option - not filled with confidence either either.

    My realistic options are Rooney, Benteke, Mané, Sakho. Leaning toward Rooney at the moment.

    Had it on Rooney for GW1 and I think I'm going to leave it with him. United though created very little up front against Spurs. The service to Rooney wasn't great and that is a worry.

    Was thinking Kane also but Stoke looked solid enough at the back today, and Spurs were very poor vs United on sat.

    Two things persuading me NOT to captain Rooney, one logical and one psychological.

    Logical - he hasn't scored away to Villa since 2007

    Psychological - after the disaster of GW1 I don't want GW2 to be ruined before Saturday with a captain fail!!

    Likely be Benteke as I don't have Kane.

    Choosing Rooney for a friday night game doesn't sit well with me, a long 3 days if fails to rack up a score.

    If aguero comes through a decent number of minutes tonight i may just put armband on him and leave it there for the forseeable.

    In all the captain disaster analysis last year i think in most cases those of us who checked it found we'd have been as well off, if not significantly better off, leaving the armband on one heavy hitter rather than chopping and changing.
