For any of you guys who turned out for our Reservoir Dog or Reservoir Pup rides yesterday - a big thank you. What a great bunch of people we met at Russborough. We hope everyone had a great day. As a little memento of your day around the mountains here is some drone footage of the event. Personally I think it looks awesome - but I suppose I'm biased. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=41&v=XuvkZ9GUGis

    Great video,

Feeling a bit more human today and planning how I'm going to smash the dog next year. Going to make it the season benchmark.

    must. have. one!!
savage footage there! what drone was that? I see some up in the 2000eur region...it would have to have been a pretty sturdy yoke to be able to fly so far out and high and not be blown away up over lough Tay (or whatever that Guinness' lake is called).

They are now linked to on the http://thereservoirdogsportive.ie/ page.

I'm just a bloke with an old camera, not a photographer.

That was an outstanding kit, quite unusual and you looked great.

Made me wonder where people get some of their kits from and what the bleedin' hell they are from ala club/event/weirdness! The Giveblood.ie one was good too.

I'm still not sure what that N. Roche kit was all about. It defo wasn't him.

At a guess that's the Blanch Wheelies club kit? (OH is a member :)) Depending on the version of the kit it could be white writing on black background (a la Clontarf) for them too.

    Drone footage is savage!

Only did the pup myself but rode over and back to make it 120k for the day with almost 1200m. Seems there's no way in or out of Blessington without climbing.

Great event and well organised hopefully it'll grow and grow. I'm off to build the legs so that I can do the big one next year.

I've finally master FlickR, I think.

I used to be so on the ball with tech stuff :(

    Now I'm not so sure...

Love the drone footage, incredible stuff! A great ad for the beautiful cycling routes on many of our doorsteps! Love around 1:44 the light coming over Featherbeds I think.

It was a great day out, I think lots of new climbs (&descents) for a lot of us, Great footage and photos(ample evidence there's no point loosing weight off the bike, while the jockey's gut is hanging out!)

The tailwind up from Laragh was a saver.
Glenasmole is a very much unlauded gem in Dublin.

    Looking forward to next year.
