    Had the game running perfectly on a dual nvidia 580 gtx later running in a single 980 ti. Maybe just lucky.

    980Ti is a €700 euro card, if it didn't run well on that.....:P

    Dual 580's is also still a strong combo (maybe apart from vram limitations in 1.5gb models), would be similar/faster compared to an R9 380/GTX960 class card.

    Also found using an ssd helps with load times

    I got this because I was told the bugs were gone, BUT..
    I played for 3 hours the other day and now when I go to load my save game it crashes straight to desktop with a fatal error.
    If I go to start a new game it loads ok. So it's just the save file is the problem...? Is there a fix or a way to rollback to a previous save file through Steam?
    I've got an i5 and a GTX 1060 6GB, it runs very smooth just having this problem now..

    There might be a backup save that you can revert to. See here;

    I'm now running a 6900X with dual 1080ti, and an ssd.

    I think I'll boot this game up tonight and see what the performance is like now.

    Updating the gfx drivers seemed to fix it. Strange as the old drivers worked a few days ago.

    I got the game gifted to me but will have to wait for miners to allow me buy a 1070 or AMD to sort out their 56 supply and pricing.

    To be fair I had the game work about perfect (apart from some stuttering on the airship, though that's only a brief part) on a 970 with an i5 6600K when I bought it earlier in the year.
