Back in time, when I first bought an EV, it was the realization that cost of fuel savings were going to cover my car’s monthly repayments that made me buy.
I calculated that between our household EVs, over the last 10 years we have driven over 350000km. It is actually less than 10 as one car was an EV permanently for 10 years and we were 2xEV household for 4 years, so in fact that mileage was driven over 7 years on average. This gives us over 50000km per year. Not bad at all…

We replaced the second EV with an 8-seater petrol as we needed the space and the range at an affordable cost, but as soon as the MAXUS or similar gets into our level of affordability, we will be going back to 2 EV family.
