You two better make sure you have head torches for when night falls or ye'll never find the finish line!

International athletes like myself only wear tri suits during tri competition, or posing for photos on Facebook.

    A recap:
A lot of life events recently meant everything bar running really didn't happen. Running kept me sane(ish). Weight moving down and motivation up.

    Week 51

    Monday

    Run
A lunch run with Tango. Just ran easy and chatted. I will miss meeting up for lunch runs, got a good three - four years worth of them. Should be able to squeeze some 45 minute runs in the new place after a bit but they will be on my tobler.

    APace: 4:58
    Ahr: 148bpm
    Dist: 12.06km
    Time: 1:00:00

    Swim
Given the lunch run with Tango I knew what was planned for this session. A 400m TT as part of the main set. I'd not swam in weeks so I wasn't expecting much from this. Paced it nicely enough 1:27, 1:33, 1:36, 1:33. A clear water TT so an accurate assessment of where I am. I'll take 6:12 given its effectively untrained. More pool time now and get some swim fitness and get it down alot.

Mah, the swim doesn't really matter. Thats just the warm up and sure they get cancelled the whole time anyways.

Thats a good showing for a man who eschews the classical guidance that one must get wet often in order to improve one's swimming.
