Ah ok, I thought there was something official announced that I missed. I believe it when I see it, I don't trust the Star because according to them we all should have died from Ebola a few months ago :pac:

True but Simon has been apparently trying to lure Olly back to the show full time since last year

Quelle surprise, the tabloids already want us to start thinking about the next series - over five months before it begins, and barely three since the last one ended.

Never mind that viewing figures are continuing to sink. Never mind how well Ben, or any of the other participants from last year, are doing. And never mind that BGT '15 hasn't even started yet.

       ;)

well it sells papers, because the news media love talking about people's lives

Mel B shouldn't be asked to return. Didn't add anything to the show last year, even though she was good at the auditions in the previous season.

Need a lot of changes to the show. Changing the set, change those out-of-date intro titles and cut down the bloated results show would be a few things I'd like to see happening.

I really hope Olly comes back in some capacity - I'd watch it for him alone :o

They should get rid of the themed live shows and ban certain songs

    Dermot has left

    http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s103/the-x-factor/news/a638471/dermot-oleary-to-leave-x-factor-after-8-years.html

He confirmed in a statement: "After eight wonderful years on The X Factor it's time for me to move on.

"I'd like to thank ITV, Simon, The X Factor family and particularly the viewers, all of whom have been a big part of my life for so long.

Boo. Best Presenter in the business. It won't be the same without him.

I'm wondering who could better him, I can see them bringing back Caroline Flack and Olly Murs together but christ their oh so spontanious yet blatantly scripted ITV2 act got old fast for me.

Maybe it will be one or more of One Direction!!

And I suppose Dermot for Top Gear too - he's moved ahead of Chris Evans to become the favourite to replace Clarky. ;)

Luke Friend's debut single. Hole in my Heart. Not a bad little song, but it's hard to not think of "There's a hole in my bucket, dear Liza".
