  • Registered Users Posts: 16,447 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

Already had a 16/1 winner, if Very Wood comes up for me, it's a fantastic day.

I wonder how far in Annie traded on Betfair before she fell? Surely 1.01? I'm sure a lot got badly stung there. That's jumps racing for you.

Annie Power was match at 1.05 (1-20) in-running. It's easy to see why as she was travelling supremely well when disaster struck.

Is Willy Mullins from Carlow or just based there?

I don't bet on horses often but Skybet had Annie Power at 7/1 with a €5 bet. Absolutely sickened.

Sick lads. Cost me about €1200, had all winners so far in accum and got greedy. Nice one for all the insights though. Great forum for dipping into for big meets.

    Ya gotta love it.

From hero to zero in a matter of minutes eh.

Sickest thing ive seen in a while, bookies can afford new underpants now because they were needed going to the last.

Won't lie, my heart broke for people there. Thought fitness would hurt her but it didn't. Race was over and the bookies were on the floor.

Easy to see the logic of the odds but not why anyone would match it. If its a gambler with cash to burn, surely a 1/20 shot isn't worth it. 20k to get a K back.

Was it jockey error at the last ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,915 ✭✭✭United Chester Men

Come on Sego Success! Miracolously left Annie Power out of my Lucky 31 and I have 4 so far, including Druids Nephew at 8/1! Some day if Sego comes in!

I dont think so. Im siding towards the sun casting a shadow from the hurdle and she took off too early??
