    http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/news/land-league-crusader-jerry-beades-racked-up-16m-of-own-debts-31045478.html
The former Fianna Fail National Executive member, who was part of former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern's "Drumcondra Mafia", ran up a string of debts with four financial institutions during the Celtic Tiger years
The New Land League has been in contact with 5,000 to 7,000 people around Ireland who have had difficulties with banks including doctors, dentists, farmers, builders and others, Mr Beades said

the new land league, total scum, they are all land lords and property investors

how dare they call themselves the land league

I wonder how many people they have evicted over the years for falling behind in rent

Is O Donnell going to have a massive legal bill to pay off after this or does the taxpayer pay for all these court days?

219 houses repossessed in Limerick today... no sign of the land league.

It means he will think over the facts of the case before making a decision.

What facts, They have just presented stuff already ruled on again. With the wording changed how is this let fly. Oh yeah I forgot.

I was just defining what a reserved judgement. I have no idea what facts were put in front of the judge. Direct your ire elsewhere

Interesting, I saw O'Donnell at 11:00pm on Wednesday talking to a driver of a home removals truck outside of Killiney Dart station. At a guess, I would say he has already vacated the building.

Some repossessed, some given time to see if they can work out an arrangement. The point I was making is that for all their waffle, they are nothing to do with the land league, they are in fact the exact opposite to what the land league stood for.

I'm totally with you on that. But my point is have they actually been repossessed yet i.e. the family have been removed from their home, or has the judge jsut issued a repossession order. A court ordering a repossession is far removed from an actual repossession as we seem reluctant to enforce those orders. It is usually when the sheriff comes to enforce these orders that the "new land league" like to show up and shout the odds for the sake of the cameras.

no harm no foul. I would question his decision to reserve judgement as well. the O'Donnells have no new cards to play.

    (The Judge)
well, as he wouldn't be representing me if he jailed this couple,

    (Paying tax)
it is your job and an obligation.

Bearing in mind that I have already explained this to you, I thanked your post
and then removed my thanks as irony would be wasted on you.

Let me try and dumb it down to a level of easy assimilation.

First, the Judge does not represent you.
    He judges you.
The hint is in the title.
If you would like somebody to represent you, then vote
    for that person at elections.

Secondly, you can quit your job but you may not stop paying taxes.

    Get it ?

You might find this fine Al Pacino movie informative.
    And Justice For All (1979)
Easier than reading a text book.

Whoever suggested they do that interview gave them very bad advice. They seriously need to put down their gold plated shovels and stop digging

Blake and Blaise, trying to make out they are just like everyone else, it's just the money owed that's different.

Yeah €71 million is a bit different all right.
