More rumbles in West Laois, seems to be several different cells forming over the midlands area.

Thunder shower has kicked off in Carlow. Started to lash rain too, great stuff!

Looks like an active cell heading in to North Kildare and pushing on toward Co Dublin.

Kinnegad area showing rain rates of about 150mm per hour. Lightning strikes between there and heading towards the Trim direction are quite frequent. Quite a nasty storm

I'm between ballivor and trim, rain is insane. Plenty on lightning and thunder. Hail stones too.

Short lived but the best storm I've had here in years. Right over us. One strike must have been very close as the house shook with the thunder. Came out of nowhere and the rain and hailstones made the road look like a river for a moment!

No rain with us, seemed to be on the edge of it, got the thunder, great stuff
