The back part of this occlusion or mini wave may turn to snow across the Greater Dublin area as the cold air undercuts...

Interesting yet... hopefully precip can maintain intensity as it approaches Dublin

a good hour of heavy snow in East Galway, 2 - 3 inches on the ground. Everything clean and white.

Sleet and graupel also turning to snow here. Sticking to cars. Quite heavy too. temp dropping like a stone as well. 2.3c at 12:07 and 1.3 now. Fast drop

it sure is, similar intensity to an Irish Sea steamer! First proper snow Ive seen fall since 2010, lets hope it lasts. Thaw should be rapid once it dies off tho.

Cycled through that on my way back from rathoath to castleknock - temp dropped about 4 degrees to 2.5 according to the garmin in the bike.
