It seems bizarre that they didn't come in for the start of the league.

wasn't it one of the issues last year about the Nash rule that the rule couldn't be changed during the championship, had to be called an "interpretation"?

Anybody what matches TG4 are showing this weekend? I know it's football's turn to be the live match, but I think it could be a hurling game since it will be the quarter finals.

Dublin well on top in this match. 10 point lead with 30 minutes to go. I can't see Limerick coming back.

I think we are seeing the benefits of playing in 1A compared to 1B.

Half time in tullamore tipp 1 14 offaly 4 pts

Clare should kick themselves for not at least getting a draw out of that. Trying to run the ball out too often on a day not conducive to doing it is a high risk strategy. 2 or 3 ball needlessly put over the sideline late on under no pressure. A game like that is hugely beneficial to both sides though certainly more than for Tipp playing Offaly.

Waterford wiping Galway out of it. Wexford beating Cork by a decent margin too.

Makes Limerick's performance even more disappointing although Dublin have clearly targeted the league to some extent. But our intensity was way off, Waterford's backs are well on top.

Tipp were winning by 13 points at half-time, but Seamus Callanan got a straight red early in the 2nd half and Cathal Barrett also got sent off later on. They only scored 2 points in the 2nd half, and Offaly scored the last 7 points of the game but Shane Dooley missed a penalty too.

have league semis been double headers in recent years? if single games will they be neutral venue or toss for home advantage?

Gosh the Seamus Callinan red was ridiculous decision. What was the ref seeing there.

Was a double header in Limerick last year. Wouldn't be surprised to see the same this year considering the teams involved.

Surely it will be overturned on appeal? Appalling decision.

Just wanted to pick up on this. Callinan sending off was never a send off but The Offaly Full back took a slap on the hand . hurt like hell but was just a slap when he wasn't expecting it and he went down he wasn't trying to get anyone send off.
There was no Offaly players running around try to get anyone send off.

Noel mcgrath got a bad slap on da hand first half he stayed on his feet why would you drop to the ground if you got a slap on the hand its not your leg that was hit.same player broke a hurley on callanan last year as he was scoring a goal callanan didnt drop like a sack of spuds.offaly players aim was to get him sent off job done and he should be very proud of himself

look the worse slap on the hand Micheal Rice got nearly lost it, MR Maher from tipp done it tipp are no angels stones glass houses comes to mind, anyway tipp were to win this by 20 points or more, blame the ref because it was only 6 if they had won by more there wouldn't have been a word about Callanans red Barrett was off with 3 minutes left.
