So has the missus... I'm reading them slowly as I prefer to get surprised by the TV series. Having said that, the missus says there's a lot in the TV series that isn't in the books and there'll be stuff happening in the TV series soon that hasn't happened in the books because some story arcs are progressing quicker than others.

I actually recently just "passed" the tv show in the books. The reason I put it in quotes is as others have pointed out the timeline between the two is quite different. Stuff that happens in the last few chapters of the 3rd book hasn't happened yet, but stuff from the 1st few chapters of the 4th book has.

Anyone else watching Better Call Saul? The penultimate episode of this season was as good as Breaking Bad at its best imo.

Enjoying it a lot.

Yeah it's good for sure, I didn't think Breaking Bad was as good as everyone else apparently but I still enjoyed it. Some of the middle seasons dragged though with more boring storylines and anything Skyler related.

Better call Saul seems to have the same quality but in my opinion greater scope for development so think it will actually be better.

Only 2 episodes of Justified left also - absolutely amazing show, brilliantly written and fantastic characters and no one watches it! Easily one of the best shows the last 4 / 5 years.

Season 5 of Breaking Bad was so excellent I forgive them for a lot of filler in the middle seasons. There was at least one season too many.

Annoyingly, I imagine it will be much harder to avoid spoilers from the TV show when the time comes to it though.

In After Hours at the minute there is a thread called Real or Satire.. Its about some bird on tv3 I believe and her ostentatious wedding, real Ott shoite like.
Anyway, I copied the link, tweeted it with a tiny sarcastic note..... And said bird replied thanking me...and is now following me!
