An alarm has been going off all night underneath me. Feel like I haven't caught a wink...

Shouldn't sleep with your phone under your pillow

Anyone buy anything for "black friday"?

I'm thinking of buying a Chinese takeaway later...anywhere doing deals on spice boxes?

I went to town on it unfortunately like an idiot. Maybe I can inspire some others though.

Got my brothers boxers on myoddballs, 20% off, they're good fun and they support testicular cancer.

Got myself some new astros and gym shoes on Nike. There is a code for 30% off stuff that is already on sale. So I think I paid like 45 for a pair of 110e runners. I was fairly happy with that.

Bought some t-shirts and a jumper of ASOS. Needed it.

Ordered a couple of customised Moleskine note books as gifts off a shop with no sale :(

Then a rocking horse on Mommas and Papas because my sister tells me that's what my niece wants. (My niece is like 4 months and can't use it till she's about a year so I'm assuming the fact that is a pre-order that may not arrive before Christmas won't bother her)

Gonna chat to a mate in the states, and see if I can post some stuff to his house.

It's time to close the curtains on a little play that I like to call "b.gud pretending to work on a Friday"

I bought the Witcher 3 for 35e, that's the extent of my black Friday shopping. A horrible idea really.

Enjoy, it's absolutely massive and I've barely scratched the surface despite having a lot played.

I think it's the best game ever made, it is riddled with quality. Do side quests, especially Witcher quests, they are very enjoyable.

I came across a deal on amazon for 8GB of RAM which was around €45 at 33% off. I looked up the same thing on hardwareversand and it was the same price except there was no special deal advertised whatsoever. Standard price apparently.

Black Friday is a scam. That's probably 33% off of what it was worth a few years ago; add a limited timer and people will make bad decisions.

Another thing about Black Friday, is that a lot of the cheap stuff on sale, is cheap stuff made specifically for Black Friday.

I just don't bother. I buy stuff when I need it and ignore sales and to be honest I'd say I save more that way by far.

I think it might have been Adrian Weckler on the radio today saying that in a good few cases the original price marked for an electronic product was the original price it came out at in say Jan or awhile ago and not the current price i.e. something came out at 500e awhile ago and could be got last week for 350 but has the Black Friday price of 299 reduced from 500.

In saying that I got 2 Starbars for 1.50 today so that made my day :D

After 6 I spent a little while trying to get the shop Xmas decorations out of the store, and put some cardboard boxes in the recycling bin. Unfortunately, some barsteward had left pallets, chairs and God knows what else in the way to try and trip me up.
As I have some broken ribs I wasn't best pleased and chucked chairs, monitors, pc'a and printers into our car park for those fckers to clear up tomorrow.....now for a bottle of red wine and the toyshow!

The place I was working in last Friday were one of Saracens sponsors and a few of the players came in to do a meet and greet.

    They were disgustingly pretty :(

    Lovely wine.

When you get back, if you have an O'Briens near you, go in and ask for Tannat, I remember you once posted about enjoying Malbec, they have a fantastic Tannat that you might enjoy, if I can I'll look up the name of the bottle :)

Have to say that I don't understand this Irish obsession with the toy show. Every year. What's the big deal?
Where are you going to watch the toy show? No! **** off! There is rugby on, crappy movies to watch and I'm not 8 years old.

My eldest is only 5 and he just wouldn't last that late so I DVR'd it and will all sit down Sunday late afternoon to watch it. Makes WAY more sense.

I've watched it once as a child and once as an adult. I really don't get it. I don't particularly fancy watching Ryan Tubridy having awkward conversations with children.

Are we claiming Tyson Fury as an Irish world heavyweight champion?
