Oi oi...I'll have you know that I grew up in the greatest musical era of all time....stone roses, the smiths, oasis, blur, the cure and not to mention the great dance music of the mid 90's to early 2000's.

I'm currently listening to Sleaford mods (lyrics not to be heard by your mother!!).

There's actually a great mix on YouTube - stereo mc's dj kicks - brilliant

You're right. You did grow up in the greatest musical era of all time. You just didn't mention any of it in your post.

I can emphasize. I'm not so fond of Christmas either for various reasons. I used to drink way too much. I tend to not take too many days off work so I can have an excuse to not drink these days. Multiple days on the beer can lead to some horrific hangovers.

Top 2 in each division goes through in Fantasy Football right? Division 1 is close. :D

No, think it's top of each division and then next 2 overall. Which still makes it fairly close.

Glad I'm not the only one who briefly wondered if I'd just woken from a coma. And also what I was doing in work on Christmas.

Ah ok. Not much difference, except that Teferi is still in the hunt.

I'm not sure whether to start Aaron Rodgers or Newton. Rodgers is playing against a better team and GB are struggling but he has scored more points than Cam.

Most colleges/unis have a "Christmas day" as a big official SU charity fundraiser before reading week/exams. NUIGs was yesterday. Christmas dinner served, djs playing etc.

That's mad having them so early.

When I was in UL we'd the exams after Christmas and so Christmas Days where a week or 2 just before Christmas itself and they were great.

In general I think people who do Christmassy things 5 weeks before the day should be put in a rocket and shot at the Moon. No offence Lost Sheep :P

Here lads, think of the hours of entertainment awec is going to provide when his missus to be goes into full bridezilla mode, and his weekends become an endless stream of going to view such nonsense as photo booths, favours, acts to entertain the guests, etc etc etc. :pac:

What's the best way to get to Killarney from Dublin? Through Limerick or through Cork? Limerick I assume?

I'd usually go through Limerick alright. Good bit quicker, great road as far as Adare.

Driven it a few times and always went via Limerick. The frustrating part is it takes as long to get from Limerick to Killarney as it does to get from Dublin to Limerick.

When I put it into Google it's saying take the M8 to Cork and come off at Mitchelstown and head through Mallow?

    Travel via Limerick.

If you hit Limerick at peak time, exit off M20 for Patrickswell. Go thru the village, keep straight thru at Lucy's (Left will probably signposted for Cork/Killarney). This road will eventually pass over the M20, keep straight ahead after thi bridge. There'll be a sharp left handed bend then take your next right.
This is a long narrow bendy road, at the next cross roads, head across the junction, shorthly after this cross roads you'll see the Thatch Pub on your right. You will cross over the river Maigue. Turn right at the T junction, continue to next T junction and turn left. You are now back on the N21 at the Kerry side of Adare.

    I hope this link works

    Thanks phog, that worked!

We'll be leaving Dublin at like 12/1 so should be in Limerick by 3 at the latest. Should avoid all rush hour traffic.

From Rathmines to Limerick takes me about 2 & 1/4 hrs. If you hit outskirts of Limerick anytime after 3.00 on a Friday or 4ish on other days avoid Adare.

How do people here beat the boredom of a workday with nothing to do. Maybe I should ask somewhere with this, but all I have is a laptop and enough privacy to get away with posting on boards, but not watching youtube videos.
