Thank you for the compliment as always no need though
You will find i never said they can play where they want, others did but as usal you decide to make an issue with my post for God only knows

I never said players should leave other posters did
My point is that dual clubs rarely work and again I don't like it but realism is unfortunately dualism won't work and nemo are essential going to take football or hurling seriously and you being a real bread and butter fan in all credit due you know gaa from ground level up you would know football is better in nemo and Douglas proved that in hurling and football while it's hugely admirable they do both fact is in modern gaa hard do both with same players

Sean post as always summed it up excellently

As for the Cronin being good hurlers no one denys that but you will find upon reflection lot good hurlers in cork but good doesn't cut it at senior inter county and you must be great
Cronin much much better potential for cork football as is Donovan
All just my opinion of course

Lad its not my fault you didnt know you can't playing hurling with one club and football with another

My last conment on it is imagine if young lads Powter or Kingston had joined nemo instesd of Douglas

    That says it all really

actually says nothing except you have an issue with football and nemo, imagine god help us if they had joined midleton or na piarsaigh, or erins own? Oh the horror, hurling snobs need to realise there are 2 main sports in gaa

Well in future with respect don't start a debate you can't debate or you try to twist as per usal with my posts
AGAIN SHOW ME WHERE I WAS ANTI BIAS towards Rochestown please
I don't want to but I'll post ten posts to show with respect you were trying to pain incorrect perception as you do with my posts only
Also show me again where I said players with different clubs can't play
I never said that I said dual clubs won't survive and you actually agreed but typical you refuse to even acknowledge we agree as per usal you seem to have more issue with poster than post my case as I'm sure many can see here
You were the very one that was of the view tomas mulchay was outstanding coach with tactical nous etc and character all because glen beat Douglas once yet na Piarsaigh gardiner out played he's team
I have no problem You disagree my opinion i won't loose much sleep over it and your entitled to it but when you try and twist my posts or accuse me bandwagon teams then with respect it will be debated
Seen as your so good why don't you do full review every cork team in harty etc and other grades this year but I wouldn't expect anyone to do it as it's tough
But by the same token just cause you don't i won't accuse you jumping on the band wagon if some team gather success or being against another team by giving one team more coverage

People are entitled to there views but I'm like yourself I like football and hurling the same as with the ladies
Cork gaa if done right should compete at all levels in both codes

Cork gaa if done right should compete at all levels in both codes

I genuinely dont think that is possible or certainly not sustainable in the currnet game and with the resources required to compete at the top of both codes, especailly not when you are also in the process of building a new stadium that will in all likelyhood never be filled, unless Gareth Brooks or one direction pay a visit!

Nothing stopping them from hurling with a different club if indeed you wanted to play football with Nemo.

    I'd totally agree
I don't agree with it as I'm a romantic at heart but realism must prevail over romance and imo dual clubs is not going win much when jack of all trades master of none won't work
If nemo were become successful in hurling they would have to have some of the football team involved
Unfortunately dualism is hard at any level
Wexford have put a limit on dual under age and while it's harsh in another way I can see there point

Hurling heart just to clarify my ist post that you debated
No where absoultey no where did i say player here can play hurling one club football with another
With respect if you have a problem interpretation of the point fair enough

In fact another poster even had to clarify more about the rule that you clearly didn't know with respect
My last word on the matter.

Unfortunately for other counties like tippeary and clare etc it's not as money is key
For what tipp done in football the past few years should deserve huge credit
However like Dublin cork would be the only one that could as there's enough hurling and football club to do both and the money is there but obviously the pairc won't allow for that with its huge investment

Cork if they got there house in order could as lot business in cork and ex cork pats abroad would like kerry in America and England etc invest money but that won't happen when cork hurling and football still borders on mediocre standard all because the board don't actually take it seriously
Galway can compete in hurling and football but to a lesser degree of cork and Dublin
Cork imo is neither hurling or football in imo if two separate board with proper structure both hurling and football could survive and compete
Unfortunately hurling will get more favour especially if the wrong football man is in charge as the days supporting poorly management team imo are far and few
If Kingston gets the hurling he will at least bring hope

Why do you need to have a manager before the draws??

sure why have one at all? let frank look after both teams maybe? its symptomatic of the **** up of the cb in that they have been unable to appoint a manager to the football team and cant make their mind up for thehurling team, every other serious county team has their management teams in position as they head back training in a months time but cork...................a joke of a gaa county at inter county level

Denis is a top journalist one of a few in cork so if he says it it's true.
Absoultey correct choice and shows how simple it is and makes the football look more a complete utter shambles as hurling everyone knew the best available candidate appoint Kingston.

Great choice cork got good manager with tomas mulchay not getting it.
Pat Hartnett is super super coach with midelton county under twenty one winning team and done good cork minor.
    Tactical very good.
The rock has lot to learn but huge enthusiastic views and want to win and while I'm glad didn't get the minor part of an experienced set up here should be okay.

Sherlock outstanding with rockies under twenty one and is new modern coach and advocated before should been under age.

Brian hurley goal keeping coach last year and is good.
Lovely blend of youth and experience.
It shows Kingston isn't yes man as brining in sherlock and rock from strikes and players like Kingston.

Board like Kingston too which helps and like landers was brought in by jbm Kingston brought in he's own men.
I would have liked landers stay on more experience than the rock but over all im happy
That will greatly generate confidence among cork and not false hope.
Should be given three year but review and mimum standard each year set and if not got to then like any management would be under review.

At last long last a full house in cork hurling in minor under twenty one and senior are good manager.
Intermediate while I have concerns with dwayne he done good this year with new team.

Hugely important the football coach is good as if not imo hurling will get more support as always unfortunately as this set up is good.
Pure pure relief with this set up.

3 weeks on the trot left them very tired looking last year, shoe is on the other foot this year, glen to win 21/10 and glen to win by 1-3 points at 9/2 will have some of my money , I think they will give a very good account of themselves.

Yep. Went recruiting with the cheque book over the summer. The Principal a very pro GAA man and even said earlier this year (piece in Examiner if I remember correctly) that hurling would take precedence over rugby.

Well done to Newcestown some going to be a senior club in hurling and football outstanding achievement ....hopefully a cracking senior final now .....I for one would have no problems with Sars winning again ...there 7th final in 8 years ...its up to everyone else to come to the top table ...winning today and lots of there players will have 5 county senior medals ....on saying all that I have no problem with Hoggy and his teammates winning a county ....but for me its Sarsfields to win again....
