    Ugh.

Did a quote on its4women.ie for the laugh. Was prepared to be outraged that they wouldn't quote a bloke. But they did. Good price to be fair, I'm already with AIG anyway.

Afaik they or anyone can't differentiate between genders on price. Or refuse to insure anyone on gender. I got a quote off them too and 25 plus, who are also them. Axa are cheaper for me though.

Annnd focus failed. Not much though. Front alignment was off, even though it was tracked 3 months ago. Exhaust mounting broke at the very back, only noticed that yesterday. The rest is lights, front needs focusing, was done, but obviously not right, brake light wasn't working, I know that there's a faulty connection there as sometimes it works/wont work. And the reversing light wasn't working. Won't take long or much to fix her.

The tester of the fella in front of me couldn't understand how he was getting any decent mpg, as his emissions were "all over the place". Couldn't hear with all the revving but I heard him say in one instance that they were above .7 where they should be below .3. Was a 2005 1.8 petrol mondeo. Said there was white smoke, and basically the engine is facked.

It's a Nissan and it's got rear wheel steering and quite a long over hang at the front wheels. I'll let someone else figure out the rest. :p

We had a Mitsubishi 2.5 ton one for years and the most annoying part of it was the stupid torque converter wasn't ideal with a lot of hills and uneven ground everytime you'd have one drive wheel in the air it would send all the power to that one and none to the tyre that actually had traction on it. Still cool little yoke had a full cab and all which is no harm in Ireland anyway.
