    Business and Irish :)

Fair play to you. My girlfriend is a secondary level teacher, PE, biology and maths. Its not an easy job at times.

As for teaching in cycling gear, lol :p I do hope you weren't in spandex shorts :pac:

Opinions please... How would you deal with a tailgater with full beams on a local road? Solid white line with minimal/no room for him to pass.

Pull over, let him overtake and sit behind him with yours on....even better if you've got HIDs :pac:

could someone please identify the type of car in this picture. it's a friends plea for help and so far it seems they don't know what make it is outside of it having the taxi sign towards the back of the roof. I wouldn't like to hazard a guess in case I was wrong

Its what I do, if someone is up my arse and I'm not willing to get them off my arse, ill pull in and let them off. If they're up my arse with beams on, well then they're get high beamed out of it

Drove to work this morning. How did I ever drive a car without heated leather seats?

Also, nice to have a heater that starts providing warmth in one minute, rather than 10 like diesels

Its times like this i wish i still had my volvo with those super comfy heated leather seats and very warm heater !

It's just so comfy I nearly didn't want to get out of it this morning.

Also, healthy engine happily idling along in 2nd gear. Wouldnt do that before I put new coils in it

That is the one thing I relly liked about my S40, the fact that the engine was up to temp in 2mins of driving and it was a diesel.
I always wondered how they got the car to warm up so quickly.

Was bleeding brakes last night after changing to HEL front brake lines. Pedal got pretty solid but tried to get a little more air out, all pressure went from the pedal, spent the next hour trying to bleed them to get the pressure back but couldnt, could I have borked the master cylinder? :o

Probably best to get it checked by your mechanic at this stage...(if you can get it to him)...I'd be wary of continuing.

I feel your pain. Had 3 cars lined up for viewing on Saturday with one in particular I really wanted.
Booked flights and all to get to Dublin only to find out that each car I was interested in had been sold.
Now I've got flights booked, a hotel (thanks to Ryanair thinking arriving at midnight is a good idea) and 1 car to view on Saturday.
If it's a crap car then I'll have wasted about 200e for nothing.

Driving a 207, the lads on the owners club didnt mention anything to do with the ABS reset although I have heard of that before, cant get it to the mechanic at the moment so gonna have another go after work.
Last 2 cars I did were perfect, although Ill admit my setup with piping etc last night wasnt great I just wish Id left it when it was almost solid!

Damn, that really sucks. Problem in that situation is cutting your loss and not being rushed into a purchase as a result. Hope it all works out for you.

Cheers. If on Saturday the car isn't a good one I'll walk away and just try again the following week. Don't want to rush into it as you say and buy a car that I won't be happy with or a potential lemon.
If the owner of the 06 Saab 93 Estate is on here... YOU'RE A BASTARD! :p:D

Would you not just get a bus/train to go look at it? instead of blowing 200 quid on flights and a hotel?
