As I was sitting in traffic 2km back from the dunkettle interchange this morning wondering how anyone would actually deal with that traffic everyday I looked to the hard shoulder to see a 142 superb parked with the guy standing outside it grand. Except he was doing something unusual to pass the time cleaning the car. Now when I say cleaning the car I mean with bottles of stuff microfibre clothes the whole lot it looked as if he was doing the interior plastics when I passed but he may of even been polishing the outside as it was very clean . I just thought it was very unusual I never seen anything like that before.

I was 40 minutes this morning literally to move from where the traffic was backed up to the dunkettle always fine from the tunnel although I can see the traffic on your side and it is very heavy. This is why I'm trying to avoid cork for placement as it's grand for college but I'll be doing a lot more coming and going to kilkenny during placement as it's next summer. Maybe you get used to traffic but I get sick of it fairly quick just because I'm not used to it I suppose. 5 minutes of waiting in traffic in kilkenny would be a big deal 10 minutes would nearly make the papers :pac:

    Did you not realise?

Yeah its not great tbf, it takes about 15mins to get through on my side which I guess isnt too bad, but I cringe thinking about my clutch so try to stay back some bit so I can keep moving slowly in first :pac:

I can only imagine the traffic in cities like Paris and Berlin even with their great transport infrastructrue!

I used occasionally have to go to Cork for work on a Monday, so I'd hit the junction on the M8 towards the tunnel.

It was lethal to get through at least half an hour, compounded by the traffic from the last exit on the M8

I was stuck in traffic a few times on the way home and being stopped in the tunnel is a pain nice hill out of it too so I see what your saying about the clutch. At least on the way in its downhill although does seem to move slower.

I have to get through it in the evenings, has often taken an hour from Blackrock to getting through the tunnel. The Mahon Point interchange is a joke.

I never have a problem in the mornings with tearing up the outside and the old old indicator on and sorry I nearly missed my turnoff wave. Saves a good 20 minutes waiting in line and if it fails I go through town.

I dont want to sound like a cocky bastard, but it was way faster and easier then I expected. I was gathering all that weight for at least 3-4 years and I managed to drop it in 8 weeks. In a way it was harder to put it on. :D

You must have been either fairly active or very strict on the diet to drop it so fast?! Hopefully you won't put it back on so quickly (have seen that happen a lot to people :( ).

Personally I've always been overweight, so a bit more of a struggle in front of me, I suppose, but sure I'm lighter now than I was at the start of the year, so if I can keep that trend up I'll be a sexy beast by 2027. :D

Watching a bunch of young lads surrounding a 2003 petrol Polo like it's a Ferrari.

    Jesus people have low standards.

Boring enough things. New plates from EirePlates. Might have them later today as they're in Parcel Motels depot now.
