Bad idea reading this thread while on a luas after a long aul day and an empty stomach. Wont be home for another 45 minutes.

Also, why the hell would somebody put bloody bisto on chipper food? I bet it's the same type of person that enjoys peanut butter sandwiches...yuk!

Been avoiding them for health reasons but went back to my old favourite chipper recently for a good old reliable quarter pounder and chips on my day off. Was massively disappointed with the burger. Places like Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Bunsen have ruined chipper burgers for me, they just seem a bit crap in comparison

I had a super delicious burger and chips for lunch from this lovely little chippy in rathmines, and it wasn't a bad price either. Might go back tomorrow :pac:

You can also get chips, battered sausage, onion rings and a quarter pounder for €10 :cool:

EDIT: For those who don't know: A Torpedo wrap is a sausage wrapped in a flour tortilla filled with taco mince and cheese. Delish.

I miss chippers

Whenever I'm back in Ireland I get chips with loads of vinegar, a battered sausage with curry sauce and a garlic sauce for the chips. All washed down with a club orange.
