    yeah he did it and sent a video which they showed on the Rose of tralee Tuesday night, he seem to be in warmer climes.

    What would be decent about pulling out of a competition you've just won.

    I thought on the night she was such a worthy winner, one of the best roses we've had in a long time.

    Gay/straight/single/mingling/tri/bi
    Doesn't change my opinion of her from the night.

    An elegant and beautiful rose full of grace.

    A spokesman for the Rose of Tralee has made a positive comment about this 'news',
    along the lines of hoping people can accept it for what it is. Considering the ROT is
    consistently lambasted in the media for being outdated and still in the last century,
    I think it is a brilliant marketing ploy by the organisers to have given this year's
    crown to someone they must have known was a lesbian. That is not taking away
    from the fact that Maria Walsh was a deserving winner in any case, as she is a
    stunner. The figures for the show were down on last years, but they weere up 14℅
    among the 14-34 year old viewers, a fact which the organisers must find encouraging.

    No harm this irrelevant,tired and dated show has had a "spanner in the works." The competition was meant for a more virginal time in Irish history,possibly 1950's.Continuing it on too long has come back to bite them on the ass.
