City a minute away from a superb result. Aguero almost levelled at the end.

It's a pity because a point for City would have took some of the pressure off them for later in the group stage.

Caballero and Boyata are on the bench too. City are scraping the barrel with their FPP reduced squad which affects their bench. If aguero is only 50% fit he would still warrant a place on the bench because City do not have other bench options with injuries to Jovetic, negredo and Fernando

    You need some updates;)

I don't listen to Jose anymore, just deleted and blocked his phone number as a precaution. Messing again, I wonder how he is doing in the FPL this season.

Baines goal and assist, coleman also on the score sheet!

Naismith scored too 3-0 so far

Everton: Howard, Coleman, Baines, Stones, Jagielka, McCarthy, Barry, Mirallas, McGeady, Naismith, Lukaku

Pretty much the first team for Everton, so it'll be interesting to see how they handle Palace at the weekend.

    Mirallas makes it 4-0

Baines 2 assists and a goal and 10 seconds away from a clean sheet. Throw in the 3 bps 21 pt haul.

Supports the idea that Everton won't keep many cleanies this season though

Aye, its these games rather than the league where he could be rested.

Strong Southampton team too. I'd fancy them v Arsenal.

I remember before I started to play FPL (only two years ago) I used to castigate managers for not trying to win competitions that could be their only chance of silverware this season (a la Liverpool in the league cup this year). Now I'm raging that Sterling is playing having been "rested" against Villa.
Playing FPL does strange things to you
