Looking at the rainfall radar looks like its been very very wet in Fermanagh (does anyone actually live there?) , northwest Cavan and Leitrim so far.

I'm pretty sure I remember a Fermangdhonian posting here during the ice age of 2009/10.

This slow moving setup has the potential to wreak havoc on the areas in the drainage areas of the eastern slopes of the Wicklow mountains, similar to October 2011.

it sure is, for once although Monday should be pretty good everywhere.

Heres a quick capture from raintoday.co.uk radar.

The two areas of rain seem to be merging together on the radar with quite heavy rain likely over the eastern fringes from the looks of it. Garden needs it.

Drove Mayo to Dublin between 830-1230 tonight. It rained from Frenchpark the whole way to Dublin. Literally felt like the dead of winter and there was epic amounts of water on the road. Definite potential for flooding.

Bucketing down in Bray for last 15 minutes or so. If this intensity is maintained for the forecast duration then be afraid, be very afraid! :D

At least the loud mouth gob****es on their way home from the pubs on the seafront tonight will be shut up :D

Just starting to get going in Swords Co. Dublin... It's edging up nicely... A nice accumulation gathering closer together now for Dublin.

Wow this is mental. The street outside looks like a river flowing past my house. Look very heavy. Santry/Artaine area Dublin.

Deluge for last hour at least in North Kildare, very heavy pulses at times, which woke us all up. On radar, it's hardly moving at all. No station amount as too lazy to go check.

My gauge is saying we've now reached an inch of rain in north east meath since 10pm.

Met Eireann have took the rain alert down, just the pesky blight now

Some rainfall amounts DOCARCH, we have gotten off very light in Tralee with just 1.6mm since midnight, Blue skies this morning, just 1/8 cloud cover.

Looks like a few records could be set by Sunday.
