    Wow. One of the best lightning displays I've seen since the famous 1985 episode. Amazing stuff tonight. The lightning didn't just flash it danced across the sky. I saw a multitude of anvil crawlers. Never seen them before. Gone quiet now. Will be tired in work today but worth it ten times over.

    Wow that was some storm I'm in a caravan in Kilmuckridge Co Wexford and it's just passed over us
    Don't think I have ever seen that much lightening before

    :eek: In a big metal tin in that type of lightning? :O i get nervy when im standing next to an electrical socket in a thunderstorm :P

    Just back and can safely say I have never seen anything like that in my life in Ireland or foreign. Constant flashing no let up for over an hour and a half thunder wasnt especially loud but couldn't hear it over the torrential rain hopping off the car.

    Just sat and watched the most freeky lightning show i have ever seen in gorey.
    Woke me up,constant thunder and lightning.
    Amazing to watch .

    The sky is taking on a much more threatening hue now but zilch as of yet.

    Yeah, not a peep out of the sky here either, but the sky is ominous and it's eerily calm/still.
