The problem with the physical newspapers is the news is at best half a day out of date when you receive it and normally is 24 hours plus.

Those lovely people who aren't really in the IRA at the moment are getting out of the laundered diesel game and getting ready for bonanza brexit smuggling. Huge money to be made once that 'border' goes up again.

Yes a proper border will make smuggling much more profitable than the current one. They might move from diesel laundering in to having sheds near the border where you can charge your electric car with northern electricity

They are already planning it AD, them boys know there's likely to be some kind of border and customs, and that means money will be made from getting around those controls.
