Yeah I seen this last night and be doesn't even play for the titans!

Anyone else having issues on Defense whereby the ball seemingly goes through your player in coverage, and they just don't react?

Whenever I'm dropping back with a linebacker, and I should be getting picks, the just don't react for me. So frustrating at times.

After playing it for a good few hrs, I'm so bored with it. Don't feel any of the excitement that I had to play madden 25. Maybe xbox1 is better, but 360 feels meh.

During a game there. Passing play. Complete pass to. WR. TE blocks a CB. Cornerback gets launched into the air like the TE had some anti gravity shield around him.

Can you do the defensive player lock on this? It's in the controls but can't get it to work.

Edit: no, according to the review above you can't. Shouldn't really be in the controls then.

Thinking of picking this up, do people think it would be suitable for someone like myelf who isnt a huge NFL watcher and only has a basic knowledge of the rules etc or would it be a waste (havent played madden games before)

best way to learn is to play against other people

You'll learn the rules of NFL from playing, I was playing Madden before I was an nfl fan. Can't get enough now!

Im thinking of getting it this year too, i havent played madden in a few years tbh, but i was the same as you when i first played it i knew feck all about rules and how to play it , but as lots will tell you its a great way to get to know the sport itself and is easy to pick up the gameplay as alot of it is explained in the game itself

i dont watch alot of nfl and i love it, this only second game of it i got and its very good play far better then any fifa

Thanks all for the encouragement - you're very persuading - ran out on lunch and picked it up (56 quid in Argos for anybody looking to get it)

Haha I wish, spent the evening on this, very enjoyable, played a few games on rookie and moved up to pro, getting hang if the rules/controls! Fun game.. An I right in saying the franchise mode is the main "career mode"?

Hey guys, anybody know where I could find a good but basic quide on defensive controls? Really enjoying the game and am happy that Im getting the hang of offense but struggling with the defensive side, maybe somewhere that explaisn defensive situations/porisitons as well as controls? Thanks all

Have you done the defensive skills trainer? That's a great addition this year and will teach you what you need to know.

do the trainers, its pretty damn good (surprisingly!)

Thanks lads, I hadnt to be honest, started the offensive skills one but just went into playing then! Will give it a go!
