Missandei's boobies were the best part of that episode before the fight. IMO the best boobies in the show so far.

    HOLY BALLS.

    Pity, I liked Oberyn.

    Gutted. Absolutely gutted after that.

The worst part was Cersei's smirk at the end. God, I'd love to see her buy it.

Going by characters i like in the show..

The Hound, Arya, Jon Snow, Jorah Mormont and Barristan Selmy will all die in a big explosion or turn into zombies next episode. I can feel it.

    Where there's a will, there's George R. R. Martin :(

Gruesome ending and wonderfully done. Slow episode but enough there to entertain me.

You might remember the very first scene of the series where the three brothers of the Night's Watch go north of the Wall and are attacked by the White Walkers. The one in the middle of the below pic is Waymar Royce, son of Yohn Royce who was one the men questioning Sansa and Littlefinger.

Little details like that are what make the books/show what they are.

It feels like I am just home from a football match after watching my team getting destroyed. I feel empty inside, shocked and confused. No form of fiction that I can remember has ever done that to me before.

Tony who?? Breaking what??? The wireless???
Game of thrones is where it is at. You win or you die.

That was a great episode! Sad to see Oberyn go though, he was one of my favourites. Im guessing the mountain will die from his wounds meaning that Tyrion guilt is still unclear.

Anyone care to elaborate on the subtleties of Tyrions beetle speech? Was it just filler or was there a deeper meaning that went over my head?

Great finale but after the big build up to the trial by combat over several weeks the ending seemed very rushed.Tyrion and Jamie's exchange was the most long winded, pointless filler thus far.

How creepy is Rasmey with Reek? "I'll be needing a bath" .After Roose recognised him as a Bolton as opposed to a Snow b******,it appears there will be a large focus on the North in the coming weeks.

Interesting to see what the unsullied eunuch Grey Worm gets up to with that foxy interpreter. What's going to happen to friendzone Ser Jorah? Is there anything going on between Petyr Baelish and Sansa Stark?
The whole Sam,wildling girl and baby storyline bores me to death.

I got the impression that it was about control - that people will be sadistic and cruel to those that are weaker than them because it is an inherent part of human nature to enjoy exercising such power over others - to be the destroyer of their worlds.

Even the handicapped kid had an authority of sorts - albeit over bugs... but what exactly is a man.... or even a king? It's been said countless times in Game of Thrones that power resides only where men believe it resides, and notions concerning honour or authority are tricks which the world engage in.

Tyrion is the bug in the scene... but so too were Elia of Dorne and her children. When the political wheels turned and placed them in vulnerable positions in the machinations involving regicide, they were left exposed to be squashed like beetles, largely in a needless exercise of authority, by those who could.

It wasn't in the books afair.

Would have preferred less Grey Worm and more combat.

Am i the only one who loved the beetle smashing bit?
Killing Tyrion will be a wrong move

Very questionable decision to watch that after being away on a stag do all weekend... uuuggghh! Emotional wreck.

Elia Martell! You raped her! You murdered her! You killed her children!

Don't know how much more of the bad guys constantly winning I can take! There has to be some redemption at some stage.... right? Right??

    Please...

They're running low on interesting good guys IMO. If they kill Tyrion it'll be a huge mistake. I don't think they will though, I'm hoping for either Bronn or Jaime to bail him out somehow.

Strangely enough, that's cheered me up.

    I don't know why.

Funnily enough me too, it's like my mind wasn't letting me believe it's just a story.

I remember having a similar feeling in the wire when
    Omar gets killed unexpectedly
it's a real sign of the quality of the show when it can effect you like that.

I'll cry for a week if/when Tyrion dies.

Bronn looks out for Bronn and despite the nice moment they had in Tyrion's cell, I can't see him going on a one man rescue mission.

Only hope is Jaime somehow convinces or forces Tywin into backing down.

    Tyrion is doomed.

That last scene did weird things to my mind that no TV show has done before. It was like I could see what was happening, but couldn't believe it, even with his thumbs deep in his head I still believed he's get up somehow. Then after I felt cold!

Thinking about it now I think what is going to happen is next week will skip kings landing and concentrate on the north, winterfell and probably the vale. The following week will start in the immediate aftermath of the trial by combat when they discover the mountain had died from his injuries throwing the whole thing for a loop and he either gets shunned or set loose never to return type of deal.

One thing I'm certain of his Tyrions time in kingslanding is over. Cersi would surely have him killed if free and I'd imagine Tyrion doesn't like how his father and the city pretty much threw him under the bus.

Going off in a tangent but only because I didn't say it earlier but I really enjoyed the Jamie scene in the jail and beetle story. I don't know why because I was expecting a pay off from it somehow

Something I was wondering - after Ramsey said to Theon they'd be going to a new home, and he was told he would be known as a Bolton now, was that Winterfell they were riding towards? I thought it looked similar in surroundings but it's a while since we've seen it.

Hopefully we will see the introduction of more characters from the Martell family as Oberyn was such a well spoken and interesting character with a great screen presence.

I remember how Tywin wished for an alliance with the Martells as they were the only kingdom that were unconquered by the previous Targaeryn conquest. Should Daenerys reach Westeros, I can see the Martells having an influence in the war

Was hoping Oberyn was going to kill the mountain and then tell Cersei that her daughter didn't miss her at all.
