Its an unusual campaign in that it targets the abusers or the men who know the abusers rather than targeting the victims. Not sure what good it will do tbh, can you really see anyone who beats their partner paying attention to something like this?

Most men are not violent and most women are not victims either.

I need a ribbon colour suggestion for a women are not victims campaign !

I think the Michaela Harte Foundation is more appropriate or more positive than this particular campaign.

Why do some bald men feel the need to grow their hair long at the back? They ain't fooling anybody.

    It's a very odd campaign..

Never mind that female on male domestic violence is at similar levels to the other way around. But hey, it's up to me to speak up when someone makes a rape joke, that'll make the difference to some guy who's already violently raped 5 women.

Really good idea with the campaign in my opinion. Put real good men who treat women with respect on a pedestal.

so put the vast majority of men on a pedestal

why specifically highlight male against female violence, why not just violence against anyone by anyone?

Would be a better campaign to have a 2 strikes and your locked up forever for rape at a prison with daily male rape on tap.

    I know right.

I wonder if a campaign focused towards a minority would be as tolerated?
e.g "Black males stop robbing so much. Only you can stop this crime!"

    or travellers

What about men being violent to men?
Or women being violent to women or men?

It's socially acceptable for women to hit men. It's regularly portrayed in both movies and ads and is thought to be amusing.

Fairly brave thing to do to talk in front of the nation, considering what he's been through. Best of luck to him and his campaign.

Interestingly, that kind of conversation is well and truly alive within the black community of America. Public figures like Bill Cosby and some old factions of the Black Panthers and such are quite critical of aspects of the African American community and acknowledge the importance of change coming from within the community. It's the only place it can come from really.

If the assault he committed when he was on parole (against a man) had been taken seriously he would've been locked up at the time.
