    'What's this?', you ask.

It's a good workin', crosstrainin', quality foodin', goop makin', pie chartin', lots holiday plannin' kinda log.

Is the goop supposed to be goop or will it be used to make something less goopy?

Some good kitchen freestylin' in any case.

The only ingredient I don't like is the chocolate whey. Maybe something lless chocolatey, like a vanilla, might work for me.

Call it Augustus after the German kid in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I'd bank on too much sweetener. Depending on the sweetener, after a quick google, they can be 160 to 13,000 times sweeter than sugar.

That Aldi Gluten Free bread is great stuff.

Do you have your own 0.5kg plates?

What are the stats on that veg and turkey (?) mince?

  • Subscribers Posts: 6,408 ✭✭✭conzy

Yeah I bought 0.5kg plates I keep them in my bag which causes extra gains from lugging them around

That dinner is 200g turkey mince, a small red onion, a stick of celery, 225g of fresh broccoli, and two pouches of those lidl steamed vegetables, some salsa on top

    498 cals 62g protein, 47g carbs, 6g fat, 12g fiber

    mzrbd_thumb.jpg

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,553 ✭✭✭✭Alf Veedersane

    Class!

    On both counts.

Might invest in plates like that....though I'm 98% sure I'd leave them behind me within 2 weeks.

Took it handy this weekend, just some foam rolling and a cycle

Diet adherence was good and food prepped for the week

    hviwe_thumb.jpgg6sg2_thumb.jpgn2kml_thumb.jpgwd790_thumb.jpg
    fy6io_thumb.jpgyjpzd_thumb.jpgwdqtz_thumb.jpgoce2g_thumb.jpg

The bread is savage, recipe here only has 140 cals a slice, 13g protein, 18g carbs, 2g fat and its just oats, whey and apples! epic with some peanut butter and its very filling.

The goop is just whey, milk and frozen fruit. Its my attempt at that protein "fluff" that a lot of people make. Its was very nice but could have been fluffier, you really need an electric whisk

The patty thing above is a tuna patty, recipe here its just a tin of tuna, bit of oats, cheese and an egg white. Tastes great

Looking forward to squatting tomorrow :)

I did a half arsed attempt at one before. Always toying with the idea of a youtube channel or a proper blog.

Will get something sorted soon ™

They do, sometimes when you make the "fake" version of a food its only alright but they are actually lovely. Pretty filling too.

The above batch was 388 cals 50g carbs, 34g protein, 7g fat so its handy enough fit them into your macros for the day.

A donut maker has now moved to the top of my to-buy list! Are those stats per 100g or for the entire lot of donuts on your plate?

Just came back from lunch to see this reply, glad I spent half my break going to get the donut maker along with some of the necessary ingredients :D
Would it be ok to substitute the coconut flour for plain flour as I dont have any coconut flour at the moment?
Also, The donut makers are running low in stock in some places and the have reduced them to €9.99 to get rid of the last few so ~I would hurry down to get one before they are gone.

Thats for the whole lot :) You can always throw the mix on a non stick pan. I'm going to put it in the oven next time to see if it makes decent muffins

Throw in anything at all I just used some coconut flour for flavour and the stuff I have is more like dessicated coconut so it just adds a bit of texture

Just double checked and I forgot the whole egg when I posted the macros. So the portion above was actually:

    458 cals 50g carbs, 40g protein, 12g fat

    1 large egg
    60ml egg whites
    30g oats
    30g whey
    1 apple
    5g coconut flour
    some baking soda, salt, cinnamon

Made exactly 12 in the lidl doughnut maker

  • Subscribers Posts: 6,408 ✭✭✭conzy

    Usual Warmup
    Glute and Hip Stretches

    Cardio

55 mins of crosstrainer @ 110-125 bpm or so

    a6np2_thumb.jpg
Also went for a short cycle this evening which turned out to be a long walk as I got my first puncture :pac:

some grub from the last 2 days:

    gg3kz_thumb.jpg cr6l8_thumb.jpg rjljt_thumb.jpg 9iszb_thumb.jpg

    ork9t_thumb.jpg6msoq_thumb.jpg 9lrum_thumb.jpg

Between some late oncall alerts for work and all the training im shattered. Going to try and make some good sleep gains tonight.

Avocado is savage when its just ripe
200ml of egg white with 2 eggs and some mozzarella is very filling and only 300cals
Goop II with avocado and pistachio was better than the original, kind of like a ferrero rocher type taste
