Parked my VRs on the street in Dublin Friday night while in college. Some dirty scumbag thought it would be fun to wreck somebodies car and jump all over the roof and bonnet.

    Came back to this:

Ah Jaysus that sucks man.

Years ago i left my mk3 Fiesta on the quays in Waterford. Same thing. little fuckers dented roof n bonnet, smashed wing mirrors and ripped off the numberplate. (I had just brought it back from the UK)

    Scum

I am reluctant to park my car in a city street (at night especially), i just cant trust any vermin out there. England as much as Ireland. I am lucky enough to have private parking where I live but many cars are on street parking, good luck with that.

I'm not gone on them myself, but it's taking me out of a hole... It's temporary till I get the other set repainted :D

I think they look good. Go well with the car.

A proper side pic might give me more of an opinion, as it is hard to see them properly.

I like them. But what would really make a difference is if you got a set of new pressed plates.

Just picked this up a couple of days ago, I'm very pleased with it.
I'm planning on getting it decarbonised and remapped after I've sorted out a couple small niggles.

I love those Audis. They came originally with a 2.4 but all those disappeared years ago for some reason.

Mine is a 1.9 six speed 04. I'm actually surprised at how well it can move.
It should be really sweet after I've finished with it though!

Maybe it's just me being used to the 17's, seeing the car with them makes it feel like a repmobile in my eyes :pac:

On the subject of the 17's, I nearly bought a set of these over them, sadly the ET was wrong and I didn't have spacers at the time.... They are W140 wheels

    You still didn't answer :P

Hardly adapters, they're not really sticking out far enough.

    Edit:

    Nevermind,

I'm sure they do them the other way around too.

Probably the last picture of the 206 ever to appear here. Sold on to a family member, being collected later in the week. As of today it has 78,487 miles on the clock, taxed until next Feb and NCT'd until April. Got €1,800 for it, exactly what we paid for it in January 2013. Put a set of new plastic plates on it last week, which make a huge difference (Don't know if you can make them out in the crap pic). Sorry to see it go really, in immaculate condition, despite what many say about the 206's, reliability wise, this one never gave any trouble, got it's services, never needed anything else :)

I don't think my Peugeot would even fit in that garage!

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,845 ✭✭✭Noccy_Mondy

No it's the only car that will :P None of the others will! Don't think dad thought it through too well when he built it many moons ago....

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,309 ✭✭✭✭wotzgoingon

I'd say the focus would. Drive it in front ways and get in and out the boot.

He's just lowered the back because he's used to blown out E46 suspension. :p

Glad you've made the right move.
