nice long nose conversion! They look much more modern than the short nose.

What stuff's it running for 200 horsies?

It's a recent TD red I conversion (AXG/AHY engine). So engine and drivetrain is a late T4 ('02+) VTG 2.5 TDI (stock 150 bhp) with ESP and ABS, remapped, bigger injectors, EGR delete, decat and a few other bits.

Had a feeling it was going to start with a red I when I seen the LHD.
    fecker :p.

LHD or RHD wouldn't have made a difference. Could have been done to either. It's a '92. Yet the red I wasn't available until 1998. Interior in the cab, dashboard, etc. and engine/drivetrain, long nose have been taken out of a at least 10 year newer bus.

But it's a tidy setup and for once, I don't have to do the work, but it's right down the alley, how I would do it.

Looks very nice indeed, much fresher look that brand new ones you see on the road sometimes.

    Any interior shots?

    Yep.

Business van interior in the front. Full leather, heated swivel captains chairs.

And Sortimo toolbox racking in the back. Van completely carpeted out and with climate-control headliner from a LWB Caravelle.

I actually find, that the standard T5 Transporter is fairly bland. Nearly as bland as a standard T4 pre-96 without mods.

A few little things will freshen the short nose T4's up massively, but the long nose looks extremely modern with the right mods. More modern than most recent vans ever will get.

    That's an awesome looking van!

I reckon amber front indicators would look class with the headlights.

I had amber (US spec) on my white Syncro build and will have that again, when we're finished re-shelling that. But I don't think it matches the black van at all.

Every one has different a taste.

For me the frosted white lens clashes with the crystal/black effect on the headlight and the amber would go better, can you get crystal type indicator lenses for those vans?

I get where you are coming from. Headlamp and spots down below are clear when the indicators are frosted if they were clear like the other it would go better. I don't agree with you though that they would go well amber.

The lights come with clear lense indicators in the box and they look mank. Hence I stuck with the frosted OEM ones.

That 406 is coming to the end of it's life I think. The auld man imported it in from England, bought it in Bridgwater car auction in 2000. It had 31,000 miles on the clock. I think it has over 300,000 miles on it now! Sounds like a tractor...ha! Always starts first time and has never given the parents any mechanical trouble. The electrical wondows work but that's about it, the central locking is fcuked and the radio....There is water in the spare boot and rust around the bottom of the door frames. The mother is mad to get another car, they will probably go French again.

This Citreon BX was the car we had before the 406. It was an excellent car, the auld man would love one again and me too!!

Cheers, its 3.0i non turbo, automatic. Very clean and original.

I'd ideally like to have it and the Legend, the Legend being a daily driver and the Supra a weekend thingy.

Though the Legend is off the road for a while with gearbox problems, this is mid-head gasket change and needs VRT'ing, so those plans are on hold for now.

I know of that 323 actually. Do you still have it!?

Depends on the size of car plus the choice of wrap, I think the matt finish is less than the gloss. Car Style done mine, very busy so I guess good value.

nice cars both the Legends and Supras were far ahead of the time/so much luxury and power . hopefully the headgasket is a straightforward job.
Im from Darndale myself originally and bought the 323 without a battery had to borrow the spare from my Crx:o the 323 i sold it on after I had got my use from her- last seen heading in the Swords direction;)

More than excellent, I had a black BX 1.9 GTI, the 8 valve one, it was a 1990 model, I had it I think 94. Some people say the 16 valve was better.
All I will say is this was a great car, it went around corners like it was on rails.and at speeds I shudder to think of now.
