  • Registered Users Posts: 78 ✭✭NN1

Yep, not the fastest car in the world but a nice upgrade on an old corsa!

Great looking and infinitely reliable too. Is it auto?

Manual all the way, hate automatics!

Edit: any idea if they made a haynes manual for the levin?

(No idea how to quote using the app)

Best of luck with it. How did you find insurance?

I'm gonna guess through an insurance company.....

    I'll get my coat....

    Love those levins though.

    is the reg edited? :pac:

Changed over insurance from my corsa, was only 200 extra. Not bad considering I'm only 18. With boxymo, they've got a sh!te reputation but I've had no trouble so far.

I was just being curious as to what type of levin it was so i put the reg into cartell.ie

Its showing the reg belongs to a jcb :pac:

    Must be something amiss.

MOD: Perhaps the user changed their reg for their own personal reasons, and I'd ask we respect that.

Had me mega confused for a minute

Good choice! :pac: Seems to be running quite hot and needing an outside temperature sensor :p

Quite hot has as in off the scale! Ha, the cluster is not working properly due to a faulty abs sensor of all things! speedo, revs, temp etc not working. Second hand abs sensor on ebay cheap as chips will have it sorted.

I'd go new for the ABS sensor, they're known to go out on these, which sensor is out? If it's the right rear sensor it may indicate you're module is on the way out...

Ditching the Levin for a Diesel:( this makes me very sad :(:(

530d are a great car in e39 form, brother has one.

Very capable package for the money

    Nice photo Norm :D

I know you want to change those wheels FN but those are one of the nicest wheels for the e39 in my humble opinion. I think nearly all aftermarket wheels will cheapen the look of it. Happy to be proved wrong though.

Both those cars are looking great

FN's car is great, but no question, M-Pars are the best wheel for the E39. I think the 17's are undersized.

Funnily enough I was lining up a few sets of wheels in work today before I cleaned it, these Work Equips are bmw pcd, very very rare! Could 'work' pardon the pun. Reckon they look the biz. Cost more than the car though :pac:
