I had 2 colts, 88 & 92 (not horses, but i think a horse would have been better in hindsight.)

Am I right in saying some of those old colts had a high and low range gearbox in them? with a 4 speed? I have foggy memories of once seeing a colt on done deal with a transfer/high-low range selector. Was this on all of them or on some sort of special one?

Any pictures of either of your colts?

Here's a sort of a throwback Thursday. First car I ever owned. Got it for my 15th birthday. Here it is on the day I got it:

Here it is a couple of weeks ago:

And here it is as it stands now!!

Hopefully I'll get a good run at it this weekend and finally get the body off the chassis. Only thing left to disconnect is the fuel filler neck :)

it contributed to it, lets say a good assortment of over enthusiastic BMW owners did a commendable job.

    And some non-BMW drivers.

pretty sure I got banned her for posting a few pics of my lexus, and was no where near as many photos as a few BMWs here. Nothing wrong with people posting up photos but not excessively.

No you got banned for 'behaving' like a tool.

You need to be called out for what you are - a troll, you were hush hush for a while now after your slap on the wrist. I've been a member here 7 years and always try bring something to the table or help others out so it doesn't matter what my username is, what do you bring to the table besides a big bowl and wooden spoon to stir it up.

I have no idea why I had as much affection for that car as I did. It was slow, uncomfortable and there was always something broken, and yet I loved it.

From their first launch, to this day, I just can't bring myself to like them. In my eyes there's always been a better alternative on the market so they just never seemed to have a place. They're a sheep in wolves clothing.

whatever, standing up for oneself in a forum awash with some over zealous people is not an easy thing, 7 years a member.

what has that to do with it, should i pop over and make you some tea and wipe you shoes?

i got some lincoln biscuits also.

Couldn't agree more, uncomfortable is the only reason i sold mine, bad back. They are a fun little car though, worth all the hairdresser jokes, mine was known as the blue tampon :pac:
