Worst motoring insult ever it's like telling a woman she looks like Susan Boyle. .

What if you are Susan Boyle  :D I wouldn't be a fan of either car but everyone has different tastes

The corolla is a much better looking car than a tiida.

Tbh the realistically don't look too dissimilar. They're both pretty bland, you could hardly call a corolla saloon a good looking car.

I mean no offense to Mhackett btw, just a subjective view. His Corolla is a very clean example, I'm just not a fan of the looks.

A better shot of the car on its new wheels. I got michelin pilot sport tyres for the rear and it feels like the power is so much easier to get down to the ground compared to the Conti-sport that were on before.

Tis indeed, bought as a project car, could not leave a Manual Imola Red Sport go at the price I was getting it for.

Sound! The plan now is store it in the shed tomorrow or Thursday and begin the three stage Polish. She's a 520i but it's plenty, lot of go in the Manuals. 4.4 V8 swap might be in the cards in the future.

I finally got some proper pics of the 330d:

Under fluorescent lights the paint looks lighter than it actually is.

Always liked the understated look of the t sport. Youd never think they have 192bhp.
Got it for a good price yeah!.
    Hasn't been mot'd since 2012.
    Hoping the brakes haven't seized.
Doesn't have leather but in good condition for an 03. Got a full clutch kit on micks garage for €84 and a second hand engine with 95000 miles for €500 so not too bad so far!....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,917 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

€84 for a clutch kit was very very good. what brand is that? when i needed a clutch for mine the cheapest i could find was €250 iirc. what happened the old engine? bottom ends?

Is it the same VVTL-i 190 engine in the T-Sport as is in the Celica?
