Sky news are pure filth..within 15 mins of the news breaking they had some lowlife sun " journo" who only " knew her through work" saying how troubled she was and how she loved to party...complete sensationalism and only interested in pedling their agenda instead of the truth

Filth is being nice to Sky News ... I wonder will Kay Miss Sensitive Burley be on the case ? oh wait ... maybe not , isn't she busy in Malaysia chasing relatives of passengers of MH370 ... ??

    RIP. Tragic.

Humour is apart of grieving let it out.

I genuinely feel sorry for the kids though.

I hate those awful jokes I'm sure some of us will hear in the coming days/weeks after a celebrity dies that often circulate. Even when it's something coming from a comedian it's never called for in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more. As someone who seems to be followed by the spectre of death - pretty much every close member of my family was dead before I was ten - I can say that humour is the one thing that keeps you going. The fake outrage brigade on here though might have something different to say. Death happens all the time and unfortunately when people in the public eye die, jokes will be made about it. Especially low hangers like the ''I don't like Mondays'' ones.

Its one of the many facets of Boards I can't ****ing stand, this fake outrage crowd. Let me tell you something, you are not morally superior because you are offended by a joke. Even one in poor taste. You know its a joke. You know its not meant with any malice. Yet you still persist in being ''offended''. Get over yourself.

I am very surprised at this ladies death and knowing what it is like to lose a parent at a very young age, its her poor children that get me the most. Her problems are over. Their's have just begun.

Yeah I think many people in our society have become ghouls and get a little turned on by tragedy/misery. The MH370 story was a prime example.

    Fake outrage?

I'd say more like dismissive distain. Certainly don't find it offensive, I am certainly not outraged but it is a depressingly repetitive online trait which I'd be glad to see that back of. Celebrity death? - Get in there with the edgy comments.

That an strawman building, wouldn't mind seeing the back of that one..oh, oh, and the "needless" "use" of "quotation" marks.

It's the combination of "in bad taste" and "stiflingly unfunny", to be honest.

I dont know. But anytime someone famous dies there is a scramble on boards to break the news, then comes a flood of RIPs, and then all these birds on a wire judge the fabric of every comment. In a way its just as disgusting as what Sky/Fox News do. Its morbid, insidious and sometimes malicious (after Mandela died for example)

Really? You think people get turned on but tragedy/ misery. Thats strange.

I think this whole thing of people make **** of other peoples sorrow for a celebrity death is massively annoying.
If I read this story about a local girl who I knew to see only, in the exact same circumstances (age, young babies, already tragic circumstances) I would feel the exact same. I am a major sap though. Obviously there is more talk on a celebrity death because they are famous. I really don't get why some people get so jumped up!!
