It seems to be quite a recent thing. Almost every week, there is a rugby player on either the Late Late or the Saturday Night Show.

oh, you are speaking about the rugby contingent on LLS. Thats more to do with the location of RTE studios and the fact that the head of sports is Vile Nugent

But, honestly, rugby is extremely popular, most schools have a team now, public and private. And recently a lot of primary schools have started teams up also.

    I said Hello Mary Lou...........

Only one I'd be interested in listening to at the moment.

All of these sports people with their repetitive crap. Stick to sport, not talking like.

I am a bit optimistic about the guest from Game of Thrones too, really hoping it's Emilia, she is a lovely bubbly character when she appears on chat shows, as well as being very beautiful.
Though I'm sure DLB can drag even her down with his "have any of your family any horrible diseases you can tell us about..." style of questioning.

Yep .. Won the championship.. Now Joe Schmidt will probably be put in charge of the Lions, pick a 90% Irish team... And drop a Welsh legend for the final game...We just have to find a Welsh legend first..
