rubbish apparently. HEad goes in minutes and its a flat pint then.
If you get the 12 packs in Dunnes and use a voucher, you effectively get 24 widget cans for €25

    1. Incredibly frustrating to pour a can of Guinness into a pint glass only for the head not to reach the top.
    2. There is no floating widget in them so the head is smaller/non-existent.
    3. Maybe it's a placebo effect, but I find the taste is just not the same.

1st Rule: We dont talk about 470ml cans
2nd Rule: We dont talk about 470ml cans

I'm pretty sure the actual beer in draught guinness is the same as in the old Guinness extra stout cans and bottles (the ones without the widget that old fellas prefer). I'd be surprised if these smaller can's aren't exactly the same as well, it's just the gas that differs, and hence the mouthfeel.

Lidl had 12/500mls Guinness cans for €14.7 odd yesterday, not sure how long it’s on for

There were a few of the Lidl's 'The Crafty Brewing Co'. 12 Beer Selection Box in East Wall about 1 hour ago, if someone is looking.

They're nitro same as the 500mL cans. Obviously the fixed widget isn't as effective as the floating one.

    Extra Stout is CO2.

    Life ain't always empty.

Youd get that in pubs as well, some lad says 'that pints not the best...' , next thing everyone's complaining about the bad pints... I'd love to be in a pub complaining about bad pints right about now
