Yes and if you like a cheaper bottle there is good value there.

it really depends, Naas has a lot 3 swallow,but none others

Am loving the Dada No.8 Chocolat at the minute.

It's €9.84 a bottle so for 6 bottles it's €59.04, less €10 is €49.04, which is great value in itself. With a €10 off €50 voucher (assuming you're buying something else to take you over the €50 mark), it's only €39.04 or €6.51 a bottle, hard to beat that

Yeah and the 3 swallows I found were in the special expensive whiskey section rather than normal whiskeys

They have the 3 Swallows in a normal blue box not a presentation like above in Tesco Merrion. Presume it's still the same one.

Tesco are running 6 for €40 on a wide range of wines, seems to be 50 different bottles included such as Los Cardos, Santa Rita i20, Sangre de Toro, Casillero Diablo, Campo Viejo, couple of Proseccos in there too.

Not necessarily- they also have the Red Label Powers 100cl bottle @ 30 (a reduction of 14-15 quid on normal). Don't just look for the 30 Euro sticker- there are a few of them out there........

Hope not, I've been waiting for the 25% off promotion for a while now .
Tesco in NI had it, so was expecting it from ROI at some stage but nothing.
Hate paying full price .

I think the 25% off wine in Tesco rolls around every 12 weeks.
That's what a manager in Tesco told me a few years ago.

It'll be gone from next January, unless Tesco drops the requirement to buy at least six bottles.

Yeah, I first noticed it during earlier in the year, flour was selling out and it had various dates up. Good idea as people might just buy a more expensive or different brand, rather than checking each day.

Picked up some of Aldi's Brown Bear Session IPA @ 97c a bottle in my local store at the weekend. Passed the taste test so went back to clear the shelf this evening!

I went down all excited, after trying 5 the other night...not a sign of one, but they have replaced them with what looks like the 5.2% version at 1.95. I knew it was going to happen, well it was good while it lasted, enjoy the last of it!. Went to Dunnes looking for the "4 for 5" wheat beer (not one in stock) and instead ended up with 24 Carlsberg for 25 with the voucher and this is the last month of using the vouchers for alcohol so I have read....have to look into which spirits (whiskeys for example) from Dunnes are well reviewed, should have gone shopping for spirits (in the liquid form that is) ages ago .

Might be just me but when Tesco do the 25% off, I end up filling 2 trolleys
full of wine .
Last time it was nearly 70 bottles, most of which I didn't really need .
I felt the daggers from the person behind me in the queue.

Strange alright, branch was Dundrum - Gold Label was €30 but Three Swallows was €36 (noted as reduced from €45)

I bought one in Dundrum last week. Price was down as €36 but was €30 at checkout
