AJ in for Ravel at -4. Should work out until I wildcard later in the month.

United and I both need a hero.

Now to spend the next number of hours writing an essay

Have lukaku at the minute but I have a huge feeling about Bony. Only using one of them for 3 gws until I get aguero in. 10 mins to decide!

Who would people start between Marshall and Mannone? Cardiff have the 'easier' tie at home to West Ham, but Sunderland seem to be keeping more clean sheets. At the moment I have it on Marshall purely because he's the home keeper.

Bit of pressure on Mannone too with new keeper rumours I'd go with Marshall tbh

    Mignolet
    Coleman - Koscielny - Nastasic - Azpilicueta
    Hazard - Eriksen - Yaya
    Suarez(c) - Negredo - Rodriguez

Bench: McGregor | Whittingham | Barkley | Williamson

I think Fulham at home have always scored. While WH away are far from it.

That being said I'm the master of getting my rotation wrong :D  :(...

Yep! It will be my only dilemma each week though, as my 4 subs cost a grand total of £16.4m (Mannone, Chester, Ward, Colback). I've gone big on my starting 11!

For my Gabbidon to your Ward we have the same subs.

But I may link you again to my praising post of the Mannone-Marshall rotation :D (=> http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=88362551&postcount=410) and let you notice that another power of that rotation (in addition to its price and great looking run of fixtures) is that most weeks your benched keeper is gonna face a much much tougher opposition (very often a top 5/6 club and all that away) than the one you'll field. This week is actually one of the few (maybe 4 or 5 over the next 18) where there can be debate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

Yep, I'm more than happy to take my decision making out of it for the next while! When choosing who to bench I get it wrong so often that I'm more than happy with my current bench, who should only get called up the odd time.

It's all done now anyway, good luck all. Altogether now Yaya, Yaya Yaya...

Cant remember my team but it goes a little something like this...

    McGregor; Mertesacker, Coleman, Burner(?); Ozil, Cabaye, Yaya Toure; Suarez (c), Lukaku, Negredo;

Bench; Gazzaniga; Chester, Gabbidon; Ward-Prowse (Not in that order)

Fairly sure Burner is the 3rd CB I went with...

Sorry but that hero is my key differential.

Haven't seen him in a team yet. I'm hoping he'll make Mutch difference by the end of the day.

Teams are up for the 1245 KO.

    no surprises at all.

    Oscar to outscore Hazard please.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,229 ✭✭✭qwabercd

282,802 wildcards played this week. Expected a tad more.

    Team , for today:
    Marshall,
    Coleman, Koscielny, Kolarov.
    Silva, Hazard, Ozil, Lallana.
    Adebayor(c), Suarez (vc), Wellbeck.

My main rival used his wildcard and held on to half his team. Definitely fancy my chances now, need a big day from Suarez and quiet one from Ade please! 46 points to make up, starting now...

    Captained lukaku=-O

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

I expect Hull to give them a good game tbh

Took a -4 hit this week to get rid of Rooney. But let's see how we roll.

    I'm fielding

    Szczesney
    Fonte Mertesacker Coleman
    Livermore Ozil Yaya Hazard
    Wellbeck Suarez (c) Adebayor

Playing my wild card just before the next gameweek starts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,297 ✭✭✭Son0vagun

Top of my league by 22 points, and I'm the only one in the top ten with Suarez as captain. Could be great for me, or could be a disaster. Suarez is due a goal or two after two games of not scoring. Fingers crossed.

    My team.

    Szczesny
    Coleman Evans Gabbidon
    Hazard Eriksen Yaya Whittingham
    Suarez(c) Lukaku Negredo

Should have 11 starters, bit worried about Evans though, Chester will come in if he doesn't play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

2-1 Chelsea please, Hazard scoring both.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

John Obi Mikel misses the match because he went to the African player of the year awards on Thursday. Wasnt Yaya Toure at that aswell, being the winner and all?!

    Fack!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Wildcard played, my team for this week:

    Marshall

Coleman (Yeah, I did it) Terry Mertesacker

    Hazard Silva Eriksen Mutch

    Suarez (C) Negredo Adebayor

    Subs: Mannone, Barkley, Chester, Ward

I'd have gone for Barkley over Mutch but it seems Mutch has a Mutch better chance of gametime today due to Barkley's injury. Probably the only decision that really had me thinking though.

    Good luck all.

City aren't playing until tomorrow so that could be the difference. Haven't seen anyone saying Yaya will miss the match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

Yaya may not play, it was a risk bringing him in over Silva. I think its worth it though, he's been incredible recently. I didn't even rate him for the first half of the season.

Wow v similar to myself only differences being my Lukaku and Oscar to your Ade and Hazard

Could be the difference alright but considering he was taken off as a precaution over an injury I was surprised he was green flagged last night considering he was in Nigeria or, at most, only flying home. Things dont add up over his green flag for me.

    Hazard down!

Ditched Eriksen at the last minute and went with Giroud over Ade...a boring 0-0 would be great!

    Adrian Durham ‏@talkSPORTDrive 7m

I'm hearing Ravel Morrison is out for West Ham today (groin apparently). Will confirm team news as soon as we get it.

Potentially bad news for Ravel owners

Yeah, suppose he could be rested. Although with City stating that he's fit for the game I am hopefully that he'll start.

City played Wednesday, did Yaya definitely travel to Africa afterwards carrying an injury? Doesn't sound like something that would happen.

Damn. Ravel and Brady were the standout cheapies this year imo along with Whittingham. I had Brady and Ravel in nice and early but both have proved to be frustrating in the end with constant niggling injuries and very little clear news on how long the injuries would last.

The leader in my money league brought in two Palace defenders AND Speroni with his wildcard! He benched them all this week though.

    Oscar, why?

Hazard not getting a sniff, hopefully this game opens up in the second half.

Hard to know if media outlets are using this years pictures or previous years but they all say something similar
Upon receiving his award, Toure declared: “I am very proud and very happy to receive this award, but would also like to congratulate my brothers, John Obi Mikel and Didier Drogba.”

Sounds very much like he was there

Should've gotten assist but for Oscar's miss. He doesn't need too much of the ball to score well, so dangerous.

I wouldn't call that a miss. It was an amazing save.

True it was a great save, still think Oscar should have placed it better giving the keeper no chance. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh though.
