Zombie teams only i guess, so good luck to all of you in your cup competition;)

I had him for a period, he had easy enough games and takes corners and some frees so was worth a punt

Kind of regretting captaining Ade now, if Suarez goes mad it could turn out badly!

Think though, at what stage of the season would it have been a good idea to have him??

Not even Sunderland fans, with an inkling how to play the game, would have him in their FPL team!

7 transfers in for Johnson today :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,606 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Lallana, Eriksen, Lukaku, Coleman.

    not bad.

Hazard and Chelsea CS the only really annoying parts of the day really.

Negredo, Kompany, Kos, Ozil and capt Suarez to go.

would like a big game from Ozil looking at my main league.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,606 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

no BPs for Hazard would be an unexpected, undeserved bonud.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,257 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

25 (-4) from 4 players. No players in the late game either. No bonus points either which is a bit unusual as each player scored at least 5 points.

Definite red arrows tonight but hopefully won't be too bad, this game week was always likely to hinge on Sunday and Monday for me, today was about keeping pace.

Fearing a utd backlash with AJ and wellbeck racking up the points now though.

Don't remember what my initial team looked like, but pretty sure there were one or two players like him in my team. It is a big pool of players, everything is possible.

    28 with 6 to go
mig Zab Coutinho fernandinho cabaye and (c) suarez

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

Was half listening to the games on Today FM,only know have I remembered that I had Manonne in goal who has ruined my clean sweep of clean sheets for the first time this season.
At least the Adebayor bandwagon came to a halt with just an assist for him.I'm putting my faith in Wellbeck this evening as anyone around me went for Ade.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

nice clean sheet for southampton. They had their regular back 4 and boruc in place today and with their fixtures favourable, Im delighted to have gone back to my boruc/davis gk combo that served me very well early on in the season.

On the flip side none for eriksen either and lallana on 2 at the mo but could change.

Defenders day on the bps so far

Mini disaster for me. Losing ground this week after all my good Christmas work. 26(-4) although I've broken even with the (-4)
All rivals scored more with no hits. I don't have either Lallana or Eriksen. Not sure now about holding onto the WC. Need to have a look tonight and decide whether to activate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,998 ✭✭✭✭dahat

40 with Sagna,Silva,Ozil and Captain Luis to come, expecting some BPs for Lallana.

Late second goal for West Ham leaves Marshall on a single point

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,602 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

31 points from 5, happy with that.

note for Ole Solskjaer. Ben Turner is an important part of that Cardiff defense! get it sorted for the next day!

29 points with 5 including captain Suarez to go. The bandwagon players went well but none went mental which suits me.

Only downfall was I have been singing Lallana's praises yet followed the sheep and went for Ozil.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

38 with Suarez (C), Silva, Negredo and Mertesacker to go.

I didn't expect Eriksen with nothing either.

Lallana with 2 is at least something.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,231 ✭✭✭BNMC

32 with 4 to play. Lallana killing me today.

The BP system really is a joke, Hazard was the best player on the pitch and manages to score, yet it looks like he will get 0. Ridiculous!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,675 ✭✭✭HighClass

24 from Ade, Coleman & Hazard with Welbeck playing in the late game. Could turn out to be a good scoring week.

21 from 4 players with no hits. Left clyne on the bench....

Not bad. 27pts from 5 and no hits.

Wildcard worked, three defenders = 3 clean sheets. Azilpucieta (6) Coleman (6) Clyne (6)

    Hazard (8)
    Berahino (1)

Still have six to play. Krul, Gnabry, Ozil(c), Yaya, Negredo, Suarez.

Just hope Ozil gets an assist or two and Suarez doesn't go mad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,685 ✭✭✭✭wonski

Adebayor(c), Lallana, Hazard, Coleman and Marshall - 33 total. Too many players left to list them, good week so far, despite the lack of bonus points, and the late goal for West Ham:mad:
    Keep them goals coming.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,809 ✭✭✭q2ice

33 points from 6 with 5 BPs to come from the Southampton game (Fonte and Lallana)

AJ left in the late game, Mingolet, Yaya, Ozil and Captain Suarez to play tomorrow.

I think it could be the first time this season where all my defenders got clean sheets (Fonte, Terry & Coleman). Delighted :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 344 ✭✭DJKendo

3 bonus points for Baines will leave me with 45 w/ 5 left. Green arrows and hoping for a quiet Suarez tomorrow since I didn't captain him!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

Thank god for Lallana's late goal as I had him as captain.

45 points including bonuses with Kos, Ozil, Silva and Suarez to play.

41 with Navas, Suarez and Santon to go. I could do with Navas going mental and my foolishly uncaptained Suarez staying quiet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,366 ✭✭✭✭Kylo Ren

35 points with Szczesny, Ozil, Toure, Negredo and Suarez (C).

My back 3 all got clean sheets! :O

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

39 from 7 boruc, azpil, llallana, lukaku, ade and hazard. Well played lads. Bardsley comes off the bench for evans with 1 pt the only let down. Suarez (C) to outscore ade and lukaku would be nice.

Who would people start between Marshall and Mannone? Cardiff have the 'easier' tie at home to West Ham, but Sunderland seem to be keeping more clean sheets. At the moment I have it on Marshall purely because he's the home keeper.
I think Fulham at home have always scored. While WH away are far from it.

That being said I'm the master of getting my rotation wrong :D  :(...

    I can't believe it ... :(

I knew, and said it many times, that the Marshall-Mannone rotation was almost too good to be true but couldn't imagine it would already bite me that bad.
So my rotation choices go now at 10 times wrong for just 7 times right (4 times even).

I give up. I'm gonna sign Springthorpe and Jakupovic, £7.8m for both. For what GKs are worth to me I'll save an extra £1.2m out of it! :pac:

    25 points from 5. Pretty meh considering I WC'ed.

Returns from Boruc, Coleman and new boy Eriksen. Blanks from Oscar (shoulda gone with Hazard!) and J Rod.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Will be on over 30 when Clyne comes off the bench to replace Turner. Still with 7 to play including captain Suarez. WC also available. Not too bad considering looking like some WC players done something this week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,256 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

All I need tomorrow is a Negredo fail.

Lad in my work league played wildcard and left Eriksen on the bench in a 5-2-3!!

Cech, Terry, Shaw and Coleman all kept clean sheets for him today. He just has Mert and Kolarov to go for a clean sweep of 42 points from defence alone!

for that reason I went boruc/davis 8.6milllion , didnt bother with cardiff coverage( luckily as it would have been b turner) and am happy with bardsley as sunderland cover.

49 with 4 left to play, Suarez, Ozil, Silva & Zab

Should be a good week as long as Suarez doesn't go nuts.

    3/3 clean sheets
    2/2 mids scoring
    2/2 forwards assisting

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,257 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Yaay eriksen gone to 1 bonus point

Balls, just spotted Evans isn't playing. That means Ward comes on for 1 point. :(

United are so poor, I do not think any of their players are any value other than Januzaj.

It's awful that I agree with you when I'm a United fan :(

De Gea, Januzaj, and Rooney are the only ones performing to the level that I know they're capable. Evans is playing well too.

Welbeck should have buried that! How on earth did he miss??

    Great bit of play though..
