GW 21 Matchday Thread

Mint Sauce

After all the talk of WCs, do we dont we, ups and downs, injuries, etc etc this week, it seems everyone has forgot to do the GW Thread.

So after much thought, I have finally settled on my single transfer, and gone with this, just hope West Ham and Cardiff end in a draw going by my GKR and DEF.

No access to laptop after tonight till tomorrow evening so no more changes for me, with a GW first this season of 5 midfeilders.

Yaya Touré--Lallana-Hazard--Sterling--Cabaye

AJ in for Ravel at -4. Should work out until I wildcard later in the month.

United and I both need a hero.

Now to spend the next number of hours writing an essay

Sorry but that hero is my key differential.

Haven't seen him in a team yet. I'm hoping he'll make Mutch difference by the end of the day.

Fizman

Team to face Hull today: Cech; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry (c), Cole; Ramires, David Luiz; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Torres. #CFC

Hull City Starting XI: McGregor, Chester, Bruce, Davies, Elmohamady, Figueroa, Meyler, Huddlestone, Livermore, Boyd, Sagbo

SlickRic

Teams are up for the 1245 KO.

no surprises at all.

Oscar to outscore Hazard please.

qwabercd

282,802 wildcards played this week. Expected a tad more.

wonski

Team , for today:
Marshall,
Coleman, Koscielny, Kolarov.
Silva, Hazard, Ozil, Lallana.
Adebayor(c), Suarez (vc), Wellbeck.

roryc

My main rival used his wildcard and held on to half his team. Definitely fancy my chances now, need a big day from Suarez and quiet one from Ade please! 46 points to make up, starting now...

km79

Captained lukaku=-O

Dempsey

I expect Hull to give them a good game tbh

Miguel_Sanchez

Took a -4 hit this week to get rid of Rooney. But let's see how we roll.

I'm fielding

Szczesney
Fonte Mertesacker Coleman
Livermore Ozil Yaya Hazard
Wellbeck Suarez (c) Adebayor

Playing my wild card just before the next gameweek starts.

Son0vagun

Top of my league by 22 points, and I'm the only one in the top ten with Suarez as captain. Could be great for me, or could be a disaster. Suarez is due a goal or two after two games of not scoring. Fingers crossed.

BNMC

My team.

Szczesny
Coleman Evans Gabbidon
Hazard Eriksen Yaya Whittingham
Suarez(c) Lukaku Negredo

Should have 11 starters, bit worried about Evans though, Chester will come in if he doesn't play.

roryc

2-1 Chelsea please, Hazard scoring both.

Dempsey

John Obi Mikel misses the match because he went to the African player of the year awards on Thursday. Wasnt Yaya Toure at that aswell, being the winner and all?!

Fack!!

Paully D

Wildcard played, my team for this week:

Marshall

Coleman (Yeah, I did it) Terry Mertesacker

Hazard Silva Eriksen Mutch

Suarez (C) Negredo Adebayor

Subs: Mannone, Barkley, Chester, Ward

I'd have gone for Barkley over Mutch but it seems Mutch has a Mutch better chance of gametime today due to Barkley's injury. Probably the only decision that really had me thinking though.

Good luck all.

City aren't playing until tomorrow so that could be the difference. Haven't seen anyone saying Yaya will miss the match.

roryc

Yaya may not play, it was a risk bringing him in over Silva. I think its worth it though, he's been incredible recently. I didn't even rate him for the first half of the season.

Could be the difference alright but considering he was taken off as a precaution over an injury I was surprised he was green flagged last night considering he was in Nigeria or, at most, only flying home. Things dont add up over his green flag for me.

Son0vagun

Hazard down!

extra gravy

Ditched Eriksen at the last minute and went with Giroud over Ade...a boring 0-0 would be great!

I'm hearing Ravel Morrison is out for West Ham today (groin apparently). Will confirm team news as soon as we get it.

Potentially bad news for Ravel owners

Yeah, suppose he could be rested. Although with City stating that he's fit for the game I am hopefully that he'll start.

I'm hoping its not a ploy myself.

CSF

City played Wednesday, did Yaya definitely travel to Africa afterwards carrying an injury? Doesn't sound like something that would happen.

Damn. Ravel and Brady were the standout cheapies this year imo along with Whittingham. I had Brady and Ravel in nice and early but both have proved to be frustrating in the end with constant niggling injuries and very little clear news on how long the injuries would last.

Scorpion Sting

The leader in my money league brought in two Palace defenders AND Speroni with his wildcard! He benched them all this week though.

Dice75

Oscar, why?

BNMC

Hazard not getting a sniff, hopefully this game opens up in the second half.

Hard to know if media outlets are using this years pictures or previous years but they all say something similar

Upon receiving his award, Toure declared: “I am very proud and very happy to receive this award, but would also like to congratulate my brothers, John Obi Mikel and Didier Drogba.”

Sounds very much like he was there

EDIT

From the CAF website

Must be this years photo
