Yeah I think there's an SD and a HD channel or something weird like that. I'm watching the Dublin game on eir sport 2 'live', whatever that is.

    Formerly setanta sports 1

    Nasty stroke from COC.

Good to see such intensity though. Enjoyable match so far.

Comfortable to say the least. Men against boys.

Should really have another 4 goals on the scoreboard.

CO'Connor should be off. Straight red, pure filth. Horrible nasty streak in that Mayo team. Not nice to see.

More of the same the second half though please.

Mcgoldrick doing his best to keep this a contest. Shameful referring From my view point. Anybody watching on TV care to put out my rage by telling me he isn't that bad?

Is it Dooley in goals? He's dithering under pressure. If Waterford can work ball in on top of him or work one ones with our full back line they'll get goals I think

Fecking knew it, he cost us that game with his panicking.. Too many Dublin hurlers were passengers in that game

Ai spot on, not giving Dublin anything. Trying his best to be the 16th man.

Any idea why Rock got a yellow?

Mcgoldricks a jumped up little so and so..he might as well book McMahon before the throw in at this stage.

Mayo not doing much except starting scraps. Dublin need to start taking their points..too much handpassing in heavy traffic

This referee is hilarious. Still helping Mayo as best he can. Lol

Am I right in saying that if we beat kerry next we'll also take their unbeaten record?

    Yes

Fair play, as awful as we were, ye played very well I thought and created goal opportunities at will. Against a poorer keeper, the deficit would be closer to 20.

The next meeting should be a lot closer, hopefully it's in September. ;)

I'm always pissed off when we leave about 5 goals behind !!

    They've had harder warm downs.

    I called that one wrong.

Moan moan moan. You still have that Mayo chip on your shoulder or is it the rose tinted glasses i see slattsy. Its starting to weight you down, not too good for your blood pressure either, considering its only March.

Christ you havn't lost in ages and your like that week in week out, how miserable must it be around you if you were supporting any other team.:eek::eek:

I'd imagine so. Worrying from a Mayo perspective though. Certainly last September was a better look at the gap between the teams, but Mayo were off the boil tonight. Still though I'd rather win in September than March. And this won't be on our radars later on if we meet again.

The squad depth is not there. The Dub subs are better than a lot of our first team and all our subs. The same can probably can be said for all the teams in the country.

Only another stage fright freeze will stop Dublin winning another All Ireland. Dublin do tend to not play to their best in finals, an enormous amount of luck got them out of that hole last year.

    I also support Liverpool.

But I wouldn't worry too much about me lad. I'm good.

Doesn't really make sense. There was no stage fright against Mayo last year, so why did Dublin need luck? IMO It's just a good Mayo team.

    Regarding Dublin's luck vs Mayo.

In the finals Dublin did play Mayo in, 2013 and 2016 imo it was the Mayo line, not the players that cost mayo at least one win. Particularly 2013 when Cooper and O'Gara were bunched but the Mayo line didn't capitalise on it. I agree that the Dublin camp haven't performed very well on finals, but then again neither has the Mayo camp.

Stoner, Two own goals in an All Ireland final that ends in a draw is massive luck no matter what way its broken down.

Horan was not the best for taking advice from anybody, we were even shouting at him from the stand a few yards away and he still couldn't see it.

An inability to deal with a high ball inside isn't bad luck.

Lol I assume neither of you have much of a connection to Mayo.

Sure didnt the ball just happened to be in around the goal

Mayo more interested in trying to bust lads than winning tonight. McGoldrick was trying harder to get scores for them than they were

That tackle from behind on fenton towards the end was shocking

Kerry, Tyrone and Monaghan are all better teams then Mayo for a start. So I think Mayo will need Mad Cow Disease in Ulster and a plague in kerry, to stand any chance of making September.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Not sure about Kerry, definitely Monaghan aren't, Tyrone would have it in them alright to beat anyone.

the lad at number 10 for Mayo looks daycent. Too small to be trying to bully past Dublin backs though.
